  3. The restaurant I work at uses clover. When I split the bill by guests or start closing a table out the clover system doesn’t allow me to go back to the main screen or review the tables check. So if one person wants to close out before the rest of their table, the handheld device will get stuck on the one table until the full bill is paid.

    Is there a feature that allows for partial payment while still treating the table as “active”? For example, if one person needs to close out to leave before the rest of their…

  4. It would be nice if Clover had an adequate support team. When I need support, I don't want to spend 20 minutes on hold waiting for a CSR who can't answer my question.

  5. Instead of only allowing for test mode only on the station devices, we'd like to have test mode available for all Clover devices. This may need to be something that is associated with the service plan instead of the device if it is tied to the Register app or otherwise use coding from the Station software and input for all Clover devices. This would benefit Clover associates who are conducting device training for merchants and their employees initially and for merchants who would conduct training for any future employees. Test mode on all devices would help prevent any erroneous transactions…

  6. Trash the new iphone app and bring back the old one.
    Let me know soon if you plan to do anything about this or if i should plan to just get rid of the clover system altogether.

  8. Navigating Clover Help is unnecessarily byzantine and confusing. Searching is also unhelpful as searches cannot be filtered.

  9. For online ordering we merchants should be able to schedule holiday hours in advance.
    Eg. If I want to schedule us as closed for Christmas Day I shouldn't have to go in and manually turn ordering off and back on on that day. I should be able to schedule that in advance.

    This seems like a really obvious feature to me that's missing (We can set special hours in Facebook, Google, Skip the Dishes, but not here in Clover for some reason?)

  13. Many restaurants add tender/payment buttons for gift certificates and for Groupon Discounts. Often these tender types only pay for a portion of an open order, but an employee taps the tender button before splitting. Many other systems will pop up with an "amount" window after hitting a payment button. This protects from the common error of marking the whole order as paid by gift certificate when the employee only meant to pay for part of the order. It would be great to have this option in Clover.

  14. Exchanges should be able to be made between items of different value.

    If I sell a pair of sunglasses worth $100, and the customer comes back the next day to exchange for a $200 pair of sunglasses.

    The exchange should be seamless instead of a return, then another transaction. I’m sure this is simple coding, and if you would like to start targeting retailers, this is a GREAT first step!

  17. There needs to be a black silicone sleeve for the Clover Flex. The translucent one got irreversibly dirty within 2 days so we had to remove it because it was yellow. Now the back of the device needs to be constantly wiped down because customers keep grabbing it and it turns yellow. There should be a black cover so that the dirt is not visible.

  18. Need to add SHOW ON POS to the bulk editing option.
    Also need to be able to hid categories too with the bulk editing option.
    I had to go into each item and check off the ON POS toggle.
    And all the categories still show on my handhelds but there's no items showing.
    Please fix to save time.

  19. Security Enhancements for employees with clover.com access
    1) Have login notifications. i.e.: Every time a user logs onto the virtual terminal (clover.com), an email notification will be sent to the email address on file to alert them of a logon.
    2) Allow IP lockdowns. i.e.: Certain user can only login from certain IP addresses - e.g.: from work only. This ensures that no one is logging on from home, etc.
    3) Login Logs. i.e.: So the employer can see who and when users logged in. e.g.: "Hi Johnny what was the reason you logged into clover at 2:34am on Sunday?"

  20. Due to increased chargebacks, we have been advised to work with Clover technology to integrate with companies like Cardinal Commerce. Unfortunately, Clover does not have any security features to assist the businesses to prevent fraudulent transactions.
