Clover Devices

  1. Clover Station "Pro" Customer Facing Chord

    The Clover Station Pro is now my "Go To" for the majority of my customers. However, The chord that comes with the Pro is 2 feet long. We can buy a 4 footer, but need an 8 to 10 foot option for the food cart application or food truck application.

    One could say, just use a 2018 station with a tethered mini, but the 2018 station does not have LTE, which my food truck/carts need and want.

    Any and all help would be great!

    We often run into situations where a network switch is needed for connectivity. Adding a network switch to market place would be extremely beneficial. I believe that we could sell quite easily.

    We are also still missing the mark when it comes to taking orders at the table. The Flex is a terrible solution for this. The old mobile, or a variation of the device would be an easy sell.

  6. Service Plan Descriptions Device vs Dashboard

    Why is the presentation of Service Plans different on the Dashboard then on the actual Device? Shouldn’t they be the same experience? The dashboard gives 4 vague Categories…. While the device lists main function/processes.

  7. Customer facing rewards

    I think it would be great if a customer could register, or at least be notified on the screen when they sign for their order, for our rewards program. We do not print receipts for customers unless they request one, and they don't always want a receipt (email or paper), so the best way for customers to know about a rewards program, and to join would be on the screen after they pay or while paying!

  8. A strident beep would be useful in case of "declined transaction"

    Set a different ringer (and a strident one) when a transaction is declined: to alert the employee who is processing the transaction and avoid for that transaction to pass unnoticed. it has happened in my salon: the screens sequence did not make it clear that a transaction was refused, and no beep came on to make it conspicuous.We got defrauded without being alerted!

  9. Restricting the reprinting of tickets in Clover dining does not fully work

    Restricting reprinting works if the employee clicks on the guest ticket prompting for a manager pin but does work if the employee simply hits the three dots right of the pay button. They can reprint as many tickets as they would like. Struggling with theft in a buffet situation where the customer buys a common item and the waiter does not enter the ticket into the system hoping that the customer pays cash and just pockets it

  10. Add a Comp Button

    Allow merchants to comp (give away a free meal) in the register app. This will allow merchants to track any food that is given away for free. With every comp ask for a reason why the meal was comped.

  11. Recycling program

    Since Clovers cannot be reprogrammed between processors, as merchants upgrade equipment or switch processors, endless hardware pieces are being trashed or not disposed of properly. We have an ethical obligation to implement some type of recycling program for merchant's to return unused/unwanted equipment.

  13. Enable Clover screen to be displayed on other devices

    On more than one occasion, merchants have asked for the ability to see the actual Clover screen remotely. They like the idea of seeing the actual screen staffers are keying from other than just the result through a printer or kitchen display APPs. This enables them to more readily monitor staff for dishonesty as well as training if someone is using a round about way to accomplish something that can be streamlined. Likewise, I have conducted some class room style group trainings where having a large monitor to display the Clover screen would have been a big advantage.

  16. multi location bundling

    We need to be able to offer bundle discounts for multi-location businesses.

    For example: if a convenience store has multiple locations and they run a bundle promo, they should be able to edit the bundle on multi-location and change all locations at once.

    As Clover is now, they have to change each and every individual location.

  17. Request for taxes to auto generate base off the city

    The merchant would like taxes to generate based of the city he is working in. The merchant travels to different cities and he does not want to have to add /change the taxes for items for every city he is in.
