Bar and More Employee Name
In the Clover Dining App, on the Bar and More tab... each tab can show the customer name, but it is valuable to also show the employee/server name here. This is valuable for bars that have multiple bar tenders, multiple bars and for called in to-go orders.

Shifts should add employee hours to a total
When tabulating employee hours for a specific week/month Clover should total these hours for the time frame requested. Currently Manager has to manually add these up which is time intensive and open for error.

Discount items for specific date range
I want the option to apply discounts on specific items or categories for a specified date range and have it available to everyone
(no loyalty, coupons, etc, just a plain old sale for whoever walks in my store). Similar to happy hour app, but be able to choose a date range to run the promotion,Ex: 10% off accessories this week
(have it apply automatically so that i don't have to manually discount every accessory that someone buys)

Restrict the employee of doing a sale with 0.00
Merchant would like to restrict the employee of doing a sale with 0.00, because went the employee save the order and they deleted the item,that give them the option of pay, so they can open the cash drawer like this, but the merchant still have the option of deleting items for is employees

A warning sign when the item did not scan into the system
Merchant would like the function when an item is not listed in the inventory and employee does not have permission to add an item to display a warming window or make a loud noise to inform the employee that the item has not been added to the order. The Clover will make the same sound even if the item is not listed in the inventory.

Allow the color tabs to be utilized for grouping similar items
Every item has a little color next to it, and this color is completely random. So why even have it? It should be able to be used to group similar items together. For example, we do non-dairy (vegan) items, so they could all be purple... It would make it so much easier

We should able to set many prices for each menu items.
One menu item can have various prices base on where it gets ordered. If it gets ordered from Chownow, it may have different price than ordering directly to restaurant. Each menu item can have price#1, price#2, price#3, .... price#10. When this item maps to different menu, we can see which price we want to use on that menu. This way, we don't need to duplicate the same menu for each 3rd party vendor and easy to maintain in the future. Just open the menu item and you can see/modify all prices.

saving card info
Is there a way to save the customer's credit card info whenever they make a purchase? Merchant has a small business and her customers are repeat, so having the card info on hand in the records (even if it only shows the last 4 digits) would be very convenient. She could just pull up the records and select the card she wishes to use when the customer comes in again.

Have the ability to use the Employee Login card to override tasks instead of the override passcode.

Give other besides the owner access to multi-location dashboard to edit reward plans
Right now, the owner only has access to the multi-location dashboard and wants to give access to the multi-location dashboard to management without giving their conditionals to their employees. My suggestion is to make it so that others can access the multi-location dashboard and not just the owner.

Saving an order while taking product out of inventory before customer pays.
We continue to have issues with our inventory system due to common scenario when a customer calls in an order or emails an order. The problem is we are unable to enter the order into clover without them paying for it at that time. What happens we can enter the order and save it, but it doesn’t take the product out of inventory. While we wait for the customer to come in and pay, someone else on line or in store can still purchase the item and buy it from underneath the customer who has it on hold because it…

Future Orders
restaurants always have customers calling in to place orders for later in the day or the following day, etc. But there is no way for an employee to key in a pick-up order and enter a future "fire" time. The online ordering app does this and many third party online ordering apps... but not the native android interface/Register/Clover Dining? Is this coming?

Store Credit/Gift Certificates
I will never use plastic gift cards as they seem very impersonal and they are not eco-friendly. Also, the store credit option should easily align with a customers name and keep track of a running balance. Clearly the people you came up with Clover's current options have never worked in/operated a store. I will get rid of my Clover system if I have to wait years for this improvement.

Reassign orders to employee after payment
Merchant would like admins/managers to be able to re assign a employee from a payed order.
some times a order might get paid a closed out before the employee can noticed that the order is assign to the wrong person since the order is paid admin or managers are not able to make any updates.5 votes -
Re-arrange discount buttons
Would be really helpful to be able to re-arrange the discount buttons so that those most frequently used are at the top of the screen. As it is now, you have to scroll down making it very easy to hit the wrong button and ultimately use the wrong discount. Please fix!

Need to have a quality assurance team for 3rd party apps
There are many apps on the 3rd party marketplace that are frankly garbage. When a Clover merchant has a bad experience with one of these apps, it doesn't reflect poorly on the app developer, it reflects poorly on Clover. Do we have a small team of testers who are validating the claims of these apps? I think we should. Apple polices their app store in this way.

Need separate Register permissions to delete item before and after item is fired.
Currently the register permission "delete an item from an order" restricts the employee from deleting an item both before it is fired and after it is fired. We need the ability to allow an item to be deleted before it is fired and restrict the item from being deleted after it is fired.
