Welcome to the feedback forum for Clover Customer Engagement Features. Please share your ideas for how we can update our Clover software to improve customer experiences, increase traffic, and retain loyalty for merchants. Specifically, this forum should only include ideas about built-in functions on the Clover Dashboard (feedback on customer engagement apps should be included in the Apps/App Marketplace forum). We are listening and we use this feedback to prioritize our roadmap.

  2. When creating a new promo in Promos app, make selecting individual items (not just categories) possible. Merchant can only select individual items in the Clover merchant dashboard

  3. A summary view to see all the businesses that an app user has visited and the reward that has been earned/ offered.

    ie. if a user gets a notification about "$5 for a birthday bonus", they can go into the app and see where that bonus is, rather than go through each business to find out who offered them that bonus.

  4. It is extremely annoying to have 2 customer profiles after they have purchased items, and also set up a membership online

  5. there needs to be a way to turn off the automatic retrieval of customer names from credit cards. All it does is add useless information to the customer list and make using that feature impossible.

  6. Other systems allow customers to use a barcode for an employee to search their profile in the system. It would be very helpful if the barcode scanner, (built in or USB) would be able to be an authorized input device within the Customers App.

  8. When looking at the customer list on clover.com, I want to be able to sort alphabetically through my customers but there is no way to do this

  9. Currently rewards are all-inclusive. By allowing users to manage what items are eligible for rewards sellers can promote customers to purchase specific items and reward them for doing so. For example, a seller could make it so that their in-store brand is eligible for points to encourage sales over 3rd party brands.

  10. Merchant is using the payments service plan and is able to download and use the customer app, create, edit and save customer profiles. But when he processes transactions through VT and assigns a customer to the invoice, the email doesn't automatically populate.

  11. Merchant wants to have the ability to zero out their customers rewards point with a button, instead of manually adjusting the points. Also they want the capability to adjust all or multiple customers at once.

  12. Need a method to Zero out Rewards points for quarterly, semi-annual, annual maintenance.

    It's a huge financial liability to not be able to expire points on a regular basis. I need an "easy button" to reset points to Zero for all our customers.

    I have been told by Clover Support to uninstall the app and reinstall it, but that did not work. All the customer data and points were in-tact.

  13. Currently Promo notifications are only able to sent between 11am-7pm EST and any promos sent before or after that time will be delayed until the next time window. Would like to increase the window of time for Promo notifications to be sent. Example 7am-11pm.

  14. Gift cards are so expensive through clover gift cards and when I submit them there should be a better system to help owners make sure their final design works. The cost is almost not worth offering to customers.

  15. First Notify Customers that clover is in offline mode before processing payments. This enables customers to resolve connectivity issues

  16. Do you know how Clover now offers the ability to sell digital gift cards online from that hosted customer facing webpage that gets created...

    I think that having the ability to create a hosted customer facing webpage that would allow a merchant to put this on their website would be a great idea in the same way that they can sell digital gift cards online

    Functionality on this gift card webpage could include the ability to trace the history of a particular gift card as well as be able to do a live balance inquiry

  17. Clover should have the ability to both sell/redeem gift cards in-store and online (ecommerce). Currently, gift cards can only be redeemed in-store.

  18. I don't want to have to use a plastic card or an email for gift certificates. They are both incredibly impersonal and plastic is not eco friendly. Please create a printable and tasteful gift certificate that customers can present to their loved ones.

  20. Not really an idea as much as it is a fix (In my opinion anyway). We have 4 Clover Stations with a clover mini attached to each Station on the opposite side of the counter / sneeze guard.
    We can not "ISSUE" a gift card by swiping it on the station.
    We can swipe it on the Mini but that requires our cashiers to walk around the counter to use the Mini. We can manually Type the Gift Card in to issue it from the Station but we can not Swipe it. We were told that once you tether a…
