  2. not duplicate the phone number

    I suggest that when a merchant is entering a phone number, to prevent duplicating the phone number in the system, or when entering a new customer with an existing phone number can be prevent it by the system as already exist.

  5. Running total for amount spent each month

    Keep a running total of dollars spent. Ability to set a spending limit. Ability to reset spending limit each month.
    Ex: $200 spending limit each month. Keeps a declining balance based on transactions for that customer. Resets back to $200 at the beginning of each month.

  7. Add an app that pulls the information from a phone number when a customer is calling to the business

    Customer calle in > With the phone number the information is being retrieved from the Customers App and add the customer to the order.

    I’ve been going back and forth with this VIP issue with Clover support for some time.

    I’ve been told that VIP’s are only created by number of visits and or points through purchases and you have to be on the Plus program in Rewards or Promos.

    Here lies the problem.

    The client is forced to pay more money for the Plus program, $99.00, which isn’t an issue if it really created a VIP filter capability.

    Our client has their own VIP program they created.

    It’s like a membership program.

    A customer walks in and wants to be a VIP.

  11. Pop-up notes

    Allow the option to pop-up comments so when ordering they will show on screen. For example, if you entered a comment/note that customer is to get a 10% discount when ordering, it would pop up and you would have to dismiss it to erase the pop up.

  12. When open non-table order, first thing, Clover should ask for Order Type and then Customer info

    Currently, you open a new non-table order in Clover Dining or Register, users just need to select order type and pick menu items and save without the need of customer information. Employees will easily forget to enter customer data and we will have no idea whose order belongs to. So Customer info is a must have before enter any menu items!!! If employees do not enter customer info first, when they should not able to create any order!

  13. Add Caller ID to customer app. When a call comes in the customer pops up in app.

    When a call comes in from a known customer the customer app shows the customer and is ready to take an order.

  14. Search phone number without dashes

    Phone numbers are added to customer file with dashes but would like to search without having to enter the dashes. Basically have a pattern search auto insert dashes .... example: 4127891234 and have it show as 412-789-1234 and search for number with dashes for match.

  15. Customer App: edit profile to add to audience any time

    When we complete a transaction, you should be able to add a customer to the audience file for promos regardless if they request an email receipt. Or at any point, if you go into a customer file and add a phone number or email, you should be able to edit profile an add them as an audience member. Should not be email receipts only or manual entry.

  18. Customer check in

    On the Clover Mini and Station, add to the customer app a "customer check-in" mode. The device can be left in a "Kiosk" customer facing manner, the customer comes up to the screen which is asking them to enter their phone number to check-in, and if the customer record is present, it creates a new order, if the customer record is not present, it has the customer enter their information, then creates a new order.

    After check-out, the merchant rotates the screen back around to be customer facing again. Would work well for service and repair type businesses as well…
