  2. Split payments and Clover Gift Cards do not work

    If you have a large party and they would like to have multiple checks, you CANNOT apply a Clover Gift card to any particular guest.

    What happens is when you bring up that Guest for payment, apply a Clover Gift Card, the gift amount goes to the ENTIRE BILL and not for that guest. It is counter-intuitive because you split up the bill properly ahead of time.

    The work around is to select items for that Guest, move to an empty table, and run that payment separately. This only works IF you do it BEFORE you start taking payments on…

  3. Gift Cards App should have access to combine orders created in Register app.

    The merchant would like to have the gift cards app to have access to the register app so that there can be one transaction with the customer card being processed rather than multiple swipes on the card that than creates multiple rate fees.

  4. No Gift Card Email? Add double email verification for online gift card purchases

    We have had multiple customers complain of not receiving an email after using the online clover gyft gift card purchasing wizard. I have a suspicion that they are incorrectly entering the email address to send the gift card to. Since the entire online gift card hinges on the fact that you have the correct email, then this should be a requirement for double verification. The current method of having to manually provide the receipt, gift card total, correct email etc to Clover manually to fix this is time consuming and leaving my customers frustrated. Thanks for the consideration.
