Synced Order numbers
Merchant would like for order numbers to sync on all devices if on the same account.

I'm calling it "a single sequential order number set across devices". Business use case: QSR Restaurant uses Tabletop Number Cards with card holders to enhance food runners' speed & accuracy, they need to be able to have every device on the same page- using the same stream of numbers, so the order takers & order makers & order runners can be at the same number no matter how many devices there are.
Please make this a fourth option!
Five Guys has this (I believe they use Micros?).
I agree with Aaron's comment.
I agree with Mandy Laffartha's comment. They both make great points also! -

When choosing an option for order numbers You can pick "None", "Automatic", or "Manual". When set to Automatic each device starts at 1 and counts up from there. It great for some cases, but would be nice to have a sub-option to have all registers pull from a "pool" of numbers so no two orders have the same number. This is helpful for a QSR that calls out customer numbers to deliver the order.

Have order numbers run concurrently instead of separating them by Order Type. Too confusing when there are several order types and order numbers are the same. For example, if you have Order #1 for a Delivery you will also have an Order #1 for Dine in. It is hard to search orders by order numbers when there are multiples.
