As a fast food takeout restaurant customers will call in the morning or the day before to give in their order to be ready later that day, to do that there should be an option to set a specific time when the kitchen should automatically print the order.

Clover does its best to time rollouts during hours that most merchants are not operating. However, I believe the merchants themselves would know best which days of the week / times of the day it is least disruptive to update their POS software. Would be great to give merchants the option to set "update hours" and then honor them by not releasing any new updates outside of those hours.

This setting allows you to sort items on the kitchen order ticket or KDI in your preferred order such as prep time regardless of input order

Merchant would like for order numbers to sync on all devices if on the same account.

It would be helpful to be able to export inventory items by category. I would like to be able to select a category, and get a spreadsheet of all the items in that category including their quantity on hand and cost. This would make taking inventory easier.

On the dashboard you show us net sales for the current day and a comparison to last week. Below that we see the hourly of todays sales. It would be SO helpful if you could also show the hourly sales of the previous day just right on top of the current day with a different color on the graph. It would be great to compare hourly sales from the same day last week.

I would like to be able to still use the old Inventory layout. the new layout is not as fluid when entering in new items, searching for items, or sorting the inventory.

I want to remove orders that were paid because when there's an issue on an order and the payment was taken, you cannot remove it, especially when the payment was with cash.

You currently offer a sales comparison with the same date of the previous year, but not the same day of the week. Our business is heavily variable based on the day of the week; comparing Saturday, June 5, 2021 to Friday, June 5, 2020 is not very useful. But comparing Saturday, June 5, 2021 to Saturday, Jun 6, 2020 would be very useful. Our previous point-of-sale system offered this functionality.

it would be great if Clover could total the number of visits a customer makes to the business. I know it shows past orders. But it'd be nice if you could total the number of visits and the dollar spend

The recent update to require two factor authentication should be set to optional. This is cumbersome and my staff is constantly complaining about how they cannot check updates without sending me the code. We are actively shopping for a new POS.

The minimum go to sleep/ screen timeout is currently 15 s, it would be nice to add 5s and 10s options.

Add to the transaction limits so that if the same transaction total gets charged on the same card at the same time it will decline the duplicate charge. This way it can help prevent duplicate charges.
