  6. 4 LANGUAGE OPTIONS MERCHANT SELECT BEFORE SWIPE TO COMMUNICATE & GET PROPER TIP

    Merchant advised me that Square has option to Select between 4 languages (they can modify which 4 preferred at set up), after order entered, and just prior to accepting payment (swipe), so if they have a 50/50 customer heavy language, they can tap to that language based on what they heard at order, so customer can see instructions, TIP INFO (important!!) when they product card. Part 2 of this, is to have the option for $1, $2, $3, $5, Other or No Tips for merchants with lower tickets instead of percentage. She said Square has these options, and they loose…

  8. Would like the option of asking a customer to leave a tip for "IN-STORE" (dining in) but not ask for carry out

    Customers want to leave a tip when dining-in for the service, but if they are picking up it seems like they get offended when asked to leave a tip. Can the tip option be customized by Order Type PLLLLLEEAASSEEEE???

    Hi there. I'm the store manager at El Diablo Coffee Co. I am emailing in regards to how Clover is impacting my employee's daily tips. We switched to Clover on January 29, and since then, we've seen an overall decrease in tips. I have been directed by Clover Support to leave my request here.

    With Square, after a transaction less than $20, the software suggested $1, $2, or $3 for tip amounts. Alternatively, customers could enter a custom amount if they wished. If the transaction was over $20, the software would then suggest 15%, 20%, or 25%, maximizing tips for…

  10. Tip Designation Line

    We have multiple people who are tipped in our business, with the easiest way to tip is at the register on a card. Unfortunately, without the ability to input who that tip belongs to, it has made this process a nightmare. We need a tip designation or even when an order is closed, the ability to designate who helped/served the customer.

  16. Service Charge should be applied to total BEFORE discounts

    Service Charge Percentage should be applied to total BEFORE discounts.

    ie. Situation: 18% auto gratuity for parties larger than 6 people

    Currently if a discount is applied to the order, the 18% service charge is calculated based on the DISCOUNTED TOTAL. It should be calculated on the TOTAL BEFORE DISCOUNT.

  18. Tip Adjust After Sale and During Sale

    A typical merchant that does counter sales and delivery such as a pizza restaurant, wants to have the tip suggest at the counter but have the ability to do tip adjust after the auth for the delivery tickets. The CC is run before the delivery and they bring the receipt back with a tip on it. Currently the only option is 100% at the counter or 100% after the sale.

  19. Cannot add tips to a transaction in Offline Mode

    You cannot put tips in for a closed order if your Station is offline. Calling Clover support the only answer I received was to call in and they can run a 2nd transaction on the card for the tip amount. This would hit the customers card 2x and is NOT a good way to deal with this issue. If the Station is offline the tip amount should be able to be entered and stored/sent with all the other card data when the system comes back online.

    If using pre-auth and the Clover is online everything works fine and the card…
