  2. Naming the Guests inside the Clover Dining App

    Merchant wishes to be able to put a name to the guests instead of having them like Guest 1, Guest 2, Guest 3, etc... That way even if they move or if the server is changed, the order will have a name and a face that it belongs to.

  3. Option for Sub-Modifiers in Dining and Register.

    Please add the option for Sub-Modifiers. For example: You choose the main Item, Modifier for which side comes up, say salad is an option, that is chosen, then a Sub-Modifier for that particular choice prompts which dressing.

  5. Clover Dining should add a Spill button to keep track of drink that are being dropped

    The merchants would like to have a button added or an option that when an item is removed from the Dining app it would ask the reason. For example if a drink is dropped or spilled, that when that item is removed they could select that option to track it.

  7. the number of guests for which an item has been entered

    I would like to ask to implement the data download by including information
    on the number of guests in the downloads.

    In particular:

    1) In the download of Orders, the number of guests for which an item has
    been entered

    2) In the download of the Items, the number of the guest for which the Item
    has been inserted

    These 2 information will allow me to process information such as:


    • Number guests per hour


    • Average guest per table


    • Avg $ per guest


    -% guest drinking wine

  8. Remove Pay Button in Dining App

    If more than one person is seated in the dining app, the pay bottom should be removed. This way a new employee cant locked the system up if the other customers are still eating. Once you hit the pay button you cant reverse the action. This becomes a headache because the other guest may not be ready to leave and want to order other items. The only way around this is to close out to cash, ring up all the items again, and tell the kitchen not to make items. Of course your cash is off at the end of…

  10. Clover Dining cashout a guest's order that wants to leave without having to close the entire order for the other guests

    I want to be able to cashout the order of a guest and that the orders of the other guests remain open under clover Dinning. Right now it's not convenient for me, because many clients want to keep ordering but when a guest wants to leave, there is only the option to split the payment but you have to close the entire order.

  11. Add a hold buttton so servers are able to hold particular items for a specified amount of time.

    We used Smile POS previously and decided to switch over to Clover because we are able to take payment directly at the table and front door (COVID-19) idea. But since using Clover over the past 2 weeks there are so many moe options from Smile that am finding that I miss. The ability to move single items between tables, holding items button, being able to split a check once the order was created and print the bill for each person to see prior to payment..   12. Have the ability to take a large order, but send the items a few at a time to shorten ticket length.

    Allow a large party order to be put in together, but sent separately. For example, on a 20 top, take all the orders, but send them 4 items at a time on 5 tickets. This will ensure the large tables order will fire at the same time, but not on one long ticket.

  13. Clover needs to integrate directly with OpenTable. When dining returns and is OK after COVID, we need to be ready.

    Easily 75% of all FSRs in the greater NYC area use OpenTable for their reservations. To NOT integrate directly with OpenTable is a huge yellow flag for established FSRs to switch to Clover.

  15. Clover Dining Table Arrangement and Order Note Color

    Merchant would like to be able to reorganize tab with the three dots on the Clover Dinning. Currently he is only able to reorganize the four buttons on the fast action bar. He would like to be able to move the whole tab. Also, merchant would like to print in a different color for the order note.

  16. Clover Dining: Group items by category on kitchen ticket

    Clover Dining app needs to group items by CATEGORY when print to the kitchen printer. For example, the ticket needs to group all APPERTIZERS together, group all Burgers together, group all Soup together... etc. This greatly help the chefs to manage the food. The kitchen printer can be quite long and we don't want to see appetizers print all over the ticket. Thanks

  17. Need "Hold" item button on Clover Dining

    On the Clover Dining app, we need the ability to HOLD an item from ever getting printed in the kitchen. Sometimes, we rush into the kitchen to get the item or had already asked verbally the kitchen staff to make it, we don't want to print it again, hence, we hold it on the POS.

  18. Default order type should be T0-GO for non-table order

    My restaurant has Dine-In (default), To-Go, and Delivery order types. When making non-table order, we some times forget to select "To-Go" order types and the kitchen will mess up customer orders. This happens a lot because the server had already selected To-Go non-table order.

  19. We need multiple Bar and more sections in dining

    The bar and more tab in dining is great for open bar tabs. But for our busy bars with multiple sections it is terribly difficult when your establishment has 20 plus open take out orders and 60 open tabs. Being able separate these into multiple sections would be if great help.

    When adding a section in dining ideally it would ask if the section is to keep open tabs or if a layout is to be built in the room

  20. Reorder Button for Clover dinning

    Merchant is wanting to have a easier way to reprint orders then to select each item. Merchant is requesting a reorder button to print entire order over again.
