    With Dining and Register...busy restaurants need the ability to send cancellation tickets to the kitchen. Please make this another button within each item (within the existing order). Further, this has to go to the order printer/KDS only...it should NOT appear on the customer's bill!

  5. edit or add items to "guest" after one "guest" has already paid

    ability to be able to edit a guest after one guest at table has already paid. for example: 4 "guests" at table. guest 1 pays their ticket. guest 2 comes to pay but wants to add a round of beverages to their ticket before paying. this does not allow you to. another example: guest 1 pays their ticket, but guest 2 wants to pay for the drinks on guest 3. you can't change this after one guest has paid.

  6. easier view for paying by "guest"

    option to be able to view guests tickets easier and to pay by guest easier. it can be confused and many times staff hits split by item or they hit the ALL instead of guest number, the format is ****** to many mistakes.

  11. Guest count in Clover Dining

    There was a previous suggestion to add a guest count in Clover Dining so that better reporting on the revenue per guest could be done. It was marked as planned but that was 2 years ago, any update on that issue? It really is an issue with several of our clients.

  12. Tip issues

    We recently started requiring a deposit for large parties at our wine bar. i made a button to ring in a ticket for half the normal amount to reflect the deposit already paid. my bar tender brought to my attention that this leaves them with only 10% gratuity rather than the 20% we would normally put on a ticket like this. i want to make sure my employees are getting their full tips and not getting short changed. is there anyway we can add a manual input gratity or import the deposit from stripe some how

  13. Clover Dining Inventory Management

    When a menu item is out of stock, Clover Dining does not give the option to remove the ability for a server to continue ordering that item.
    Servers can still place the order causing many issues. Also, quantity on hand is not updated until an item is paid for - this does not help the issue when orders are held in the saved/orders app until a table is paid. This has caused many lost sales as we are a reseller for Clover

  14. Per Device Default Order Type

    It would be great to have the ability to set the "Order Type" default per device.

    For example. The Clover Station in the bar defaults to "Dine-In" while a Clover Flex is used outside for Curbside orders without having the user have to change the order type on the Non-Table Order or the Register App each time an order is done.

    This would allow flexiblity to have some Flex Units default to "Curbside" or "Special Event" if they are used for outside catering.

  15. Universal Dining Features Missing from Clover

    Let me say, I love your technology. We recently installed 3 Clover PoS stations in our full-service restaurant and you guys knocked it out of the park.

    That being said...it is clear that those who wrote the technology have spent very little time being 'in a hurry' while working on the floor of a full service dining room. Your programs are missing a multitude of features that speed a front of house employee's job up that are common across all other platforms. (Aldelo, Micros, Aloha, Squirrel etc.)

  16. Ability to reopen a table/order if server accidently closes the wrong table

    Server closes the wrong table and quickly realizes the mistake. There is no way to reopen the table to my knowledge without reentering all the orders. If its a large table what a pain.

    Obviously you can combine and move guests at payout but that it time consuming and prone to error and confusion. If you know customers are paying separately when they sit you should be able to just create more than one tab at a table. The fact that you can't name guests is ridiculous and just creates more confusion.

  19. Ability to add or remove items after a split payment.

    When customers are paying individually, the cashier can no longer edit a ticket once one customer has paid their bill. If the second customer wants to add an item or was unhappy with his meal, it is too late to do anything because the ticket is locked on the payment screen. To add, we have to create a new ticket, making the customer pay twice (which most are unhappy about). To delete, we have to act like the customer paid, then issue a refund. I should be able to discount the food or void it. Again, this only happens when…

  20. Color Code categories

    When you create a new category can we implement a color for the category? Default it to white with like 25 colors to pick from and then make that category button that color. It is a lot easier for the eye to relate to a color when in a hurry then having to read. Not to mention all of our competitors can color code buttons.
