    Missing Lines in between the items on order receipts when they are using large font. On the new update with the different font sizes for order receipts the large size does not have the lines to separate the items compared to small and medium font.

  2. Kitchen Display App (KDS)

    Our restaurant would benefit from having a suitable Kitchen Display App that could replace our kitchen printers.

    Having a screen to view all incoming online orders and interact with those orders would help us operate much more efficiently.

  5. ORDERS ARE BEING DELETED AFTER DAYS!!!

    We just tried to look up a couple orders that occurred a couple days ago. Come to find out all of those orders have been deleted in our system. Please advise!!! Big issue as people have returns and we need to pull up their existing order.

  6. Order printer: Date/time stamped on order receipt should take less space!

    Currently, date/time stamp takes too much space and waste a lot of printer paper on kitchen printer. We should able to customize the font size in more levels. The date/time stamp's font should be smaller than customer name and food items' font.

  7. Customer information should notify for bad repeated customers.

    Nowadays, we face many customers that are scamming or take advantage in many ways. Customers app should include information if we decide not to serve or warning for these return customers who keep complaining or do many tricks on us. When we add customer, this information will need to pop up!

    when you make changes or void on any fired items, kitchen will need to get notified as well and you should able to destinate which order printer to receive this notifications, so our food runner or chef can make sure the modification or deleted item will not be made accordingly. The current system forces our employees to run or walk to the kitchen to notify this. Add note is not wise because it can be ignored and require many typing.

  9. Consolidate all necessary features into a single app

    Many restaurant workers are not technical. At this moment, it requires them to know Clover Dining app, Register, Transactions, Orders, Tips, Close out, and so many apps for their daily work. It is not a good idea or practical for them to understand the relationship between these apps. POS system should be designed to be one point stop that they can open one app and can do all the necessary things they need to work on. Have to switch between apps to get work done is not good idea and easy to create more problems.

  10. Blank order with no menu item should not be created.

    Blank order should not be created if there is no order item in there. This way, we don't need to come back to delete all the blank orders. It is very common for one employee to open an order ticket and leave to do something else, next employee comes and close the ticket. Do something else or open a new ticket. The current system creates way too many blank tickets and we have to come back to close them.

  11. Order Types Set at Device Level

    Merchant would like the ability to change the order type default at the device/station level. Merchant uses dedicated devices for dine in and take out/delivery service and it saves them time if the default on that device is set for the type of order that is typically received on that station.

    One suggestion I have that I think would make this system even better would be a way to prioritize the order of items on printed slips! In my kitchen I plan on using two printers one for just pizzas and calzones and one that prints everything else. A master slip if you will. Since pizza works independently it makes sense to give them a slip with just the pizzas and calzones. While the rest of the staff can see everything on their slip and can know when to start on items depending on where the slip is in the pizza…

  14. Time separate the appetizer, main course, second course and dessert/coffee

    Ability to send the order to kitchen with show the appetizer and the rest of the order with priority time. For example show the chef that the meatball (appetizer) comes before that any pasta (main course).

  16. modify payment on closed orders

    I have a very large merchant with 8 clovers and they are about to switch to micros for this exact reason. They are insanely busy, and many times a card is swiped for the wrong table. When this happens, they have to void the transaction.

    BUT - there is no feature to re-open the order and apply the correct payment card. Instead, they have to open a new table/order, re-enter all of the items, apply a note to the kitchen "do not make" (because you can't close an order that is not fired), swipe the card again to complete payment.…

  17. Orders- Filter (Paid vs Unpaid)

    It would be nice to have an additional filter added to the Orders app (Status) so that you could quickly sort Paid vs Unpaid orders. This is something that can be pulled by exporting the data, however that elongates the process.

    Ability for open order to show up in the customer's app. Also, Open orders should be display indefinitely until paid so we are able to remind clients o payment. For me it is imperative to be able to invoice clients and remind them of payment overdue. Open payments are very important.

  19. Copy Refund order

    Hello,
    Once the order is refund you can not reopen the order for payment. So can we have a function to copy closed or refunded orders to make it easier to processed these order so we do not need to manual recreate them.
