If I had known................We need to be able to assign tips to each individual waitress as a customer checks out at the cash register just like a regular credit card machine. It doesn't make sense you can't do this when technology is moving forward. Why can't Clover do this? If this isn't resolved this whole system will be packed up and shipped back without ever being able to put it to use. No one can answer questions without bouncing you to 3 or 4 different people and then the call drops! Agree with Cath Shaw Truelove's comment. They dropped the ball on a very important function.

Right now whoever is at the register is getting all the tips. We have a large space and can't run back and forth to be cashier every time we get a tip. We'd love to ask "who helped you today?" and assign a tip to the server. I've seen this with other systems. Clover is a pretty big company... why so basic technology?

Totally agree. I have several barbershops and hair salons that would love to use Clover but won't because of this. Need to be able to split a tip by employee as well as somehow show what each barber sold. One barber could have sold just a haircut and another had a haircut and sold some product. Owner needs to know that information for paying commission. I thought maybe combine order would work but both orders get assigned to whomever took the payment :-(

POS 2018 In our case, we have "Events" where more than an employee services the party. The tips are allocated among the ones who served. Depending on the size of the event the order could be ring under one of the employees including the tips. The tips and sales amount should be allocated to each one. If would be a great functionality to have this available in Clover.

Merchant called in because he is a barbershop and the way that clover is set up does not work for his business.
REsolution:the merchant would like to be able to split payments by employees because right now there are 2 barbers on his shop and if someone comes in with his kid and they get a get a hair cut with each barber they customer would have to make 2 transactions to pay each barber//the merchant would like an option that fixes that issue since clover is a great devise but it does not cover the needs he has//done

I have found that at FSR such as higher end restaurants, servers share tips with the bar according to their alcohol sales and bussers according to their overall sales or food sales. Can we have this added into Clover?
