Welcome to the feedback forum for Clover Management Functions. Please share your ideas for how we can update our Clover management software to help merchants run their business simply and easily. Specifically, this forum should only include ideas surrounding built in management functions (feedback on business management apps should be included in the Apps/App Marketplace forum). We are listening and we use this feedback to prioritize our roadmap.


Here are quick descriptions of each category so that you can easily locate and post ideas in the correct place!


1. Clover Dashboard Functionality: Share your thoughts on how the Clover Dashboard as a whole can function more effectively. 

2. Restaurant Menus and Clover Dining: Share your thoughts on all functions that specifically have to do with Clover Dining such as Clover’s built-in menu creation feature.

3. E-Commerce Management/Clover Online Ordering: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers e-commerce management software including Clover Online Ordering.

4. Inventory/Order Management: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers inventory management software.

5. Receipt Management: Provide ideas related to order receipts here including kitchen receipts, customer receipts and merchant copies. Tell us how Clover can enhance the processing of, information on, and appearance of various types of receipts.

6. Employee Management: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers employee management software. This includes permissions, viewing and editing employee roles, employee satisfaction, scheduling, owner access and more. If you have tipping suggestions, please include these ideas in the Tipping category of the Taking Payments forum.

7. Software Plans: Here you can provide feedback on Clover’s software plans. Please specify which plan your idea is featuring (Table Service Restaurants, Counter Service Restaurants, Register, Essentials, Payments).

8. Other Management Suggestions: Place your idea here if you have feedback that does not fit in any of the other forum categories.

  1. Merchant would like a way to apply discounts to COLO orders the way they can on the device. The merchant has a promotion running that they can use on the device but online orders have no way of taking advantage of the discount

  3. What happened? Shutting off Online Ordering from a Clover device went away with no notification. Now it has to be done from the dashboard.
    Not all Business owners are onsite and most don't want their staff to have access to the dashboard. This ability needs to be returned to the setup app.
    When important changes are made without notification to the Sales Team it impacts our credibility and is down right disrespectfull to the BC.

  4. is there anyway we can disable In-store Pickup and only set for
    Curbside Pickup when using the online ordering app

  5. Merchant requests an inventory control feature for COLO so when they are out of a particular item it automatically stops letting people order it, so there is no overlap from the time they sell out to the time they uncheck it as current offering.

  6. As a 3rd party developer, I want to control the time and date when a scheduled order reaches as a notification to the clover device and manage printing the order receipt to the kitchen at a given time so that the scheduled order is served

  8. option to apply delivery fee that can be deducted from cash sales

  10. Merchant requested to edit the time frame/wait time provided to customers for an order made through COLO, advised that by default provides a prompt of 40mins to be prepared, he said that won't work for his location as he has to many customers and sometimes need an hour depending on the amount of orders and customers in queue.

  11. Every item in Inventory should have a simple checkbox to specify whether it is available for online ordering or not. Not all items in inventory are necessarily available for online ordering so there should be an option to include or exclude them from the online menu.

  15. We operate a Foodtruck at multiple locations. When customers are scheduling orders for a particular day and time, there needs to be a dropdown that allows them to select a location for picking up their food. Currently, the system defaults to "In-Store Pickup" and that confuses customers because our "Home Business" location is not where we serve from.

  16. Have the stock tracking and limitation for Online Ordering, therefore if an item it out of stock it will hide on the online ordering to prevent customers from selecting that order.

  17. It would be great if it would let us customize the look and feel of the web ordering page to some extent.

    • Company logo
    • Colors (background, text, etc..)
    • Fonts (font-family, font-size)

    It would also be great if you could add some ready-to-use cook-looking skins.

  19. Please give an option to update the logo on the online ordering above the business information.

  20. Merchant wants to be able to have a QR code for the customers to be able to order and pay there without asking all the info that it requires, as in phone number and the captcha security.
