Don't get rid of Old Inventory Layout
The old inventory layout is so much easier to use than the new.
1. In the item details page: it has the ability to tab through the fields and enter item info quickly. The new layout has drop down boxes that have to be clicked on to open and continue entering info.
2. The item details page (when you select an item to edit the details) is much more condensed; there's no need to scroll. The new layout is unnecessarily large, lots of wasted space and you don't see everything at once.
3. The inventory page shows all the necessary info at-a-glance without having to click on the item to see these details. The new view does allow the columns to be customized (thank you), but it is lacking the item cost detail and only shows item price. When checking price changes and other things at-a-glance, it's so much faster to not have to select the item and open it to see the cost. It's much more efficient to search the first few digits of the product code and view the item details without clicking on the item. (Necessary details at-a-glance are: Item name, qty, price, cost, tax, product code, label, category)

I noticed today that there has been an update to the inventory management side of the online dashboard. "Labels" has been changed to "Printer Labels" for some odd reason, and it is nearly impossible to add an inventory item to a Printer Label, without wasting a ton of time. Additionally, adding inventory used to be extremely simple and straightforward, now there are multiple more steps, but it actually takes more time because it runs you through steps, and it's impossible to add a new item to a label without going into the label section. To me, it seems like Clover wanted to make things easier for us, but actually made things a lot more difficult in the process. As a side note, when I called clover to ask around about the update and the reasoning behind it, I received extremely poor service my "assistant" was actually very rude over the phone. An option to switch back to the old setup for inventory would be VERY much appreciated, as well as some "Quality Control" of your support staff.
