Daily Customer Settlement Report
The current Close Out menu under Finance currently shows us the daily transaction amount that goes to the Bank. When you click to see the details, it shows summary per card. That has not been helpful. We need this to show the customers whose transaction cleared to the Bank every day. So we will see total Closeout for the day and when we click on the total amount it gives us the customers that make up that total. Kindly help create this report.

Separation of the additional charges vs. Surcharges on device
When printing sales overview from the device the Additional charges section should itemize the amount for surcharge vs. gratuity. Currently we have to log into the dashboard to get that.

For unique identifier we are not able to match back to report in Virtual Terminal as the "note" or "description" field remains blank - does not pull in the key field of info that we need to make our process more efficient and less manual.

Unit price should print on receipts even when the item is set as having a "variable price".
Unit price should print on receipts even when the item is set as having a "variable price". Currently only items with a fixed price will print the unit price on the receipt. Customers don't care what our settings are... they want to see a unit price no matter how we have our pricing set in the software. This is common sense!

System files tip adjusted transactions as partially paid
Tip adjusted transactions show in reporting as partially paid. This causes the printed employee report to exclude the service charges (gratuities) from those transactions.

Report based off of Clover Dining Sections
Merchants would like the ability to have a report that breaks up sales based off of sections in the Clover Dining app. They hope is that restaurants can tell which dining areas are the busiest.

Batch Report to Include Transactions
Merchants have discrepancies between what the Closeout App cites as the batch total versus what they receive in their Deposit. To reconcile, we need to pull a batch report that clearly cites what transactions were funded in each batch. Clientline used to provide this report, but recent changes on that portal make this an even more urgent need on the Clover platform

Orders
In the online interface, you should be able to sort what kind of order you want to see, for example. I only want to see open orders, I should be able to see only those. There would be no "time - range" requirement, because I just want to view the open orders without having to scroll through all orders to find them.

Add link to deposit reports to show breakdown of each transaction and the date of the transaction
I find it somewhat difficult to reconcile my accounts as the Deposit reports only have the total for each card used. It would be helpful to have a link from the total of each card showing the breakdown of each transaction and the date of that transaction. The total of each card may contain a couple of days transactions and this makes it more difficult to reconcile with Quickbooks Online.

Better reporting for comparison of what sold to what got changed in inventory to reflect items
Reporting for comparison of every day sold items and every day change in inventory item list to reflect only items that were only manually changed in inventory.
This functionality will enhance daily audit ability for owners

Latest Inventory Update does not work for Retail
The latest Inventory update took away the "item cost" category and the "alternate name" category (which we use to track where we buy items from).
Tracking what we pay for items and where they come from are crucial.
This can still be done on the actual POS but not on Clover online. Most, if not all, retail businesses do not stand at their POS to add new inventory they do it on their computer. This update makes this impossible.
It seems every time there is an "update" it is worse for users. :( Is this a problem for other retailers?…

Multi-Location
Bring back the export option for the new Multi-Location Dashboard per a merchant who has 30 locations. This report is used daily to show sales for each store location. The function was previously there on 10/16/22 and now it is not there.

Name on tabs
Currently we can add a note on a transaction/tab but the only person who can see it is the pos user. I'd like to be able to add customers names to tickets that are sent to the kitchen so that when not attached to a table the runner doesn't need to constantly ask foh where to deliver food

Improved Inventory Report Export
Inventory reports when exported should have a column including the Category on the Items sheet. That way you can sort by category when looking through your inventory. The example and issue I can give was trying to make a sheet that reported inventory so we can check said inventory. Because the items can't be organized by category and have the quantity column on the same page, you have to manually sort through each item one by one. Having to go through every item one by one and then making a new sheet with the information you need is inefficient.

Employee Performance - Clover Dining
Clover needs an Employee Performance Report based on the information collected on Clover Dining, owner of the restaurant would like to know how many guests, not orders employee's served, average sales of employee, total guests and sales, and summarized in a column by best performer to least performer. The owner of the restaurant would like to know how many guests the whole restaurant served the whole day and have it be customizable to the date and time of choice. Results showing the best employee performance serve to the least

emailed batch report
It's been an issue for our merchants who want to have the daily closeout / batch report emailed to someone at their company who is not the owner.
Clover does not have the ability to have the automated batch report go to a controller, Cfo or someone in the accounting dept. It can only be sent to the email associated with the Owner of the Clover account.
Seems like an easy fix. Can we get it done?
