Ability to reopen a table/order if server accidently closes the wrong table
Server closes the wrong table and quickly realizes the mistake. There is no way to reopen the table to my knowledge without reentering all the orders. If its a large table what a pain.

Notification when there is communication issue with the kitchen printer
When the kitchen printer goes offline there needs to be a notification that stays on the screen that requires acknowledgment from the server before closing the screen out. Also, when this happens the system should automatically print the kitchen chit on the receipt printer so the server can bring this back to the kitchen staff and let them know there is a printer failure of some sort. Currently, the system only flashes across the screen, puts a tiny little icon on the top of the screen that no one is going to see, and I have to manually redirect the…

Clover Dining: Fire button be Green until it is fired
In Clover Dining can the Fire button be green until it is fired like in the tables app?
53 votesWe've reviewed the current flow of the "Fire All" functionality in the Dining app and confirmed that it is working as designed.
When a merchant selects "Fire All", all un-fired items are sent to the kitchen (via printer or KDS) without affecting items that have already been fired. Additionally, a "Printed" label is applied to fired items, helping to clearly distinguish between what’s been sent and what’s still pending. The Fire All button remains enabled to allow for future actions as needed.
Currently, we display six different table statuses to assist merchants in managing operations:
Available, Seated, Seated - Delayed, Paid, Unavailable, and Contactless Dining.
Adding another status solely to reflect item firing status may not be ideal, as it could clutter the interface and introduce complexity without significantly enhancing clarity.

Ability to edit Paid Orders
Requesting to be able to adjust or edit Orders after they have been paid. Mistakes happen where the wrong tender or item could have been selected. For instances like that, Admins should be able to make corrections when necessary, regardless if the Order is Paid or not... especially while the customer is still present and the batch is open.
