Allow merchants to change default reporting type in the reporting app on the device
Currently the default option is set to condensed reporting, merchant would like an option to have it default to a full report which is not available at the moment.

Restaurant Reporting Employee Details
In restaurants with bars, generally the server needs to tip out the bar on bar sales. We need to have a breakdown by category or revenue class available on the device. It's too cumbersome to have to go through all of the steps using the dashboard, and many shift supervisors and even managers do not have access to the web dashboard. Additionally, you want to be able to print the report and attach to server check outs to be turned in to owner or accounting or whomever. Please do this ASAP.

Ability to Filter Tips by Date
We have a few locations that would love to be able to filter the Tips app by date.
We have a bar that checks all tips entered the prior night for accuracy before they manually settle the batch. This helps prevent calls from customers due to tip entry errors. They would love to only see the tips from a specific date or yesterday.

Transaction report by hour.
I would like to see a way to download a report from the Dashboard of transactions by hour. I use the CloverGo app a lot, but shows total revenue (per location). There is a way to see the number of transactions, but you have to tap 3 times to find that. A separate chart on the Go app or Dashboard would help. I prefer to see (for staffing) the number of tickets/transactions per hour. This report would be able to print daily/monthly to show sales by hour and if I need to adjust staffing. I appreciate that Clover is always trying to improve. I think it would be a great idea if you had a focus group comprised of business owners and sales reps that you present to before making changes. For instance, yesterday you updated the reporting feature and eliminated the total number of transactions. Now the merchant must add the total of credit card, debit card and cash transactions to get the total transactions for the day. Tax Reporting IS INACCURATE
Your tax reporting is INACCURATE.
We need a clear way to determine meals taxes. THIS IS CRITICAL.
Your tax statements and reports are a mess. We can not use what is in your reports as it blends POS taxes with delivery app taxes. We need a way to clearly show net sales and taxes from the POS.
You currently show the amount collect from each order type at the bottom of your sales report. Please also add net sales and taxes for each order type.

Guest count in Clover Dining - reporting
Clover dining adds no additional reporting to clover. Restaurants need to know:
1. how many guests they have served
2. Average turn times of tables
3. Average spend per guest/tableAll clovers main competitors provide this reporting. The information is there, so why not add a report for it?

Batch Close email
It would be great if the Batch Close report could email to more people than just the defined "Owner". In large organizations you have a finance department that needs this info besides the manager that runs things on the daily. Should be a simple request.

Shorten the Daily Report
Both of the End of Day reports are simply WAY TO LONG. It wastes a ton of paper. I only need a few figures from the report. Amt Collected, Tips, Total Credit Card Amt, entries for amounts taken out of the drawer (Payouts, tips, etc). I HATE THE NEW REPORTS - WAY TOO MUCH INFO just to check up the drawer.

Itemized reporting that breaks out which employee did what on the checks.
Currently, the employee who opens the check and orders the first item is the only employee that is tracked on the check. We would like to be able to track what each employee serviced on the check. We need to know who added what amounts, who authorized a credit card and who closed the check. These details matter.

Report
I need a detailed report showing when an item is moved from one table to another, who authorized the move, who performed it, and at what time. At my restaurant, we’re experiencing issues because we don’t know who is moving items, when it’s happening, or who approved the changes. This report is critical for us, and it would be extremely helpful to have it available as soon as possible.

Report
I need to have a report that shows the exact time each item is entered, even if it’s going to the same table. Clover has a “line item” feature, but if I add 3 margaritas at different times, it only shows the time of the first margarita.

Reports
When the servers has a refund, only the manager has the power to refund the item, when they look at the report, is not under the server but is shown under the manager who did the refund. I would like to have any type of permission to let the server click refund, then ask for the manager code and then after the refunds is clear, I need them to be under the server report

Reporting by hour with items and categories
It would be incredibly helpful to have a report that shows how many items are sold per hour, broken down by product and category. This feature would allow merchants to easily identify their peak sales hours and understand which products perform best at different times of the day.
With this insight, businesses can make smarter decisions regarding staffing, promotions, and inventory planning.

Tip Management
When printing out employee sales report from the POS system, there’s confusion as to what the additional charges entail. Merchants that are on surcharge program face reconciliation discrepancies when it comes to separating additional charges collected by servers. Additional charges both include gratuity / service fee charge, and surcharge fees.
For faster and more efficient reporting reconciliation, is there a way that the POS reporting printout receipt can separate surcharge fees from gratuity fees or any other additional charges? As opposed to just lumping both of these fee types under additional charges.
