Color Code Items to visually stream line Line Cook Opperations
I am a tech for a CC processing company that uses Clover but also have been a chef for 20 years. In Clover POS I can assign a color to an item, who do I contact to have that same color be reflected on that item for the KDS as well?
Example - If I made all salad items blue when a line cook sees the color blue they know it’s a salad.1 vote -
Allow aggregators to setup pickup times for online orders
Clover has added great functionality to show pickup time for future orders on the orders screen. Open up this access to the public API so 3rd party order services can set pickup times that display on Clover.
3rd party services are still required because Clover's tools have limited functionality such as immediately firing to kitchen printers for future orders.

Print Custom Modifiers on Labels
Labels don't print custom modifiers of online orders as well as orders placed on Clover devices, which renders the label printing useless. Any orders with custom modifiers will not be prepared correctly. It was great to get label printers networked, but this is the next limiting factor to broad usage.

Report on Number of Guests and their Orders
Need to have a report that generates the number of guests each day related directly to each order. This helps with reporting on how much each guest is spending in my taproom.

Shift reports in Clover need to print detailed sales for the employee that include tip as well
I have had multiple table restaurants reject Clover because when they do an end of shift report, it’s not printing off each of the server sales and the adjusted tip amount so they cannot track it to make sure that servers aren’t changing the tip amounts

Interface for creating future orders on employee side
As a bakery that takes pre-orders for future fulfillment, we need the ability to enter the customer name, and date and time of pickup in a way that can be sent with the ticket to a KDS. Tickets also need to be able to be sent to different departments within the bakery, cake, bread, etc. Finally each department needs to be able to view the future orders from a daily, weekly and monthly view for planning yields, expenses, etc.

Orders
During the entering orders quickly, if we need to cancel one and add a new item to the list, customer facing screen does not update. Deleted item does not seen on the invoice however Customer see it in his screen. Creates conflict with customers and break the trust.

Discount Control
We need the ability to control how discounts are applied to orders. There are certain discounts that apply to food only and not alcohol. Example, Military discount as well as other promotions we may be running through various advertisements. Currently, when creating a discount there are no control options for how the discount is applied. We would like to have an option to apply it to specific item labels or revenue classes, categories, menus, or even specific items. Another example would be a coupon we send out for 15% off your meal. When the customer is ready to pay we…

Kiosk update needed ASAP!!!!
Problem: The customer-name field in the ordering flow currently accepts letters only. I want to enable a numeric-only option (or a numeric-mode toggle) so customers can enter numeric identifiers (e.g., 1–50 digits) instead of their name. We cannot shout out customer names in the restaurant to look for them.
Proposed change: Add a mode toggle (Name mode vs. Numeric ID mode). In Numeric ID mode, the input accepts digits 0–9 only, with validation for length (configurable, e.g., 1–50 digits). This will make bringing out food to customers table easier since they can be found by their number on top of…

fire online orders to kitchen printer based on pickup time standard preptime
Online orders fire expo tickets and kitchen order tickets immediately when placed even if that is days in the future. This activity requires the kitchen to archive future orders and physically manage order tickets based on pickup time.
Online aggregators are firing orders based on prep time and pickup time making them much more efficient. Any kitchen using kitchen printers and/or 3rd party kds has to stay with the aggregators because of this limitation.

Better Reporting for Surcharge Collected
Please make it so that surcharge collected is reported separately from total sales on batch reports and closeout information.

Make Customer Name More Prominent on Order Receipts
On Clover order receipts, the employee name is currently bolded, while the customer name is not. This makes it difficult for staff to quickly identify which order belongs to which customer, especially during busy hours or when multiple orders are being prepared at once.
Please update the receipt formatting so that the customer name is bolded or otherwise made more visually prominent than the employee name. This small change would improve order accuracy and efficiency in customer-facing environments.

Print a transaction report on our handheld machines
My servers need to be able to print a report that will show individual transactions with the gratuity listed also. This will greatly help us identify errors and every processor I have ever used has this function. I can't be the only restaurant that needs this function.

Display order numbers from the dining app
Display order numbers from the Dining app.
Most of restaurants use the Dining app and Kitchen Display. However, when they fire orders from the dining app, it doesn't show up the order numbers on the KDS. It's really uncomfortable. One of tech staffs explained to me if I use "Register" app it would display. Seriously?.. We are not fast-food restaurant, we need table numbers and order numbers.
Please, fix this issue on the next update!1 voteCurrently, due to space constraints on the Kitchen Display System (KDS) ticket header, we are only able to display a single unique identifier for each order. For orders originating from the Dining app, we prioritize showing the table number, while for orders from the Register app, we display the order number. This approach helps the kitchen identify the order's destination - whether it's for dine-in, takeaway, or deliver, within the limited space available.
We understand that having both table number and order number visible would significantly improve clarity and workflow, especially for full-service restaurants like yours. Your feedback is valid, and we recognize the inconvenience this may cause.
Please rest assured that we’ve noted this request and will be reviewing it with our engineering teams for future updates. We’re committed to improving the experience for all our restaurant partners and will keep you informed as we explore solutions.

Option to print transaction list with closeout report
It would be great if there were an option to print the list of transactions included in the closeout batch report. I am aware it can be viewed online or on the device but a printing option would be more convenient for me. That was one of the questions I asked the sales person before switching over, only to find that the option is not even an option.

View Open Orders on Dashboard
When in the restaurant, it's easy to see all open orders. On the dashboard, there is no way to filter on open orders, forcing me to scroll through hundreds of orders to find those that haven't yet been paid.

Condensed sales report needs to include totals
The new condensed sales report on device provides the Sales by Tender Type, but we must add the figures together to determine card totals. It'd be helpful to have the "Total" section from the Full Report on the Condensed Report.

Add Order Notes Option From Pay Screen
It would be beneficial to have an option to add order notes to an order after hitting pay in the Register App. This would allow merchants to go in and add a note while taking payment for an order, eliminating order bottlenecking for high velocity businesses (like counter service restaurants).
