  1. I have a prospect I'm working with who is currently being grossly overcharged by their current processor and looking to move to us. They use Promos often, and wanted to know if they'd have the ability to do so after moving to us.

    I spoke to presale support and as well to the customer engagement team, and they confirmed that when I move the contacts to the new MID, it does not keep them opted in to Promos.

  2. I migrated my pos to Clover and I am not that happy. It has no basic options like giving offers to customers like buy 1 get 1 free or buy 1 get 50% off to each product.
    When we add each product to the inventory, need the option to add offers to each products.

  3. When performing a refund, the only option is to select payment form for the refund to return to. As a small nonprofit boutique, we'd like an option to select store credit so we can be guaranteed to keep the sale.

  4. You should be able to exempt items from receiving reward points and or perks used on specific items. I offer a third party service that is very low margin but higher price than my usual items and it allows lots of points to be earned that is in turn used on regular items eating into profits.

  5. Please allow restrictions to be made on the discount given from the rewards loyalty program. For example, I would like to prevent the rewards discount from being redeemable on tobacco items. We do not have enough markup on tobacco to give the discount that is given on the rewards app.

  6. With the new Service Growth SaaS plan, it would be of high value to the Merchants and their customers, if customers were able to book / change / cancel appointments and purchase electronic Clover gift cards, directly from the customer's Clover app.

  7. The same way money is added to the Gift Card should be the same way the card is used. For Example: Customer wants $20 on a gift card. Customer gives me the cash, I swipe the gift card to add the $20. But when the customer comes back to use the gift card, they have to give me the card to me to type in each number for the Gift Card to process payment. The customer should be able to swipe the card for payment and not have to give the card to me to type in the numbers. The…

  8. There currently isn’t a way to edit the quantity of a Clover Gift Card order once it’s been submitted, not even through Clover Gift Support. The only available option for editing an order is to cancel within one hour. This creates a problem when the required quantity isn’t available as a single order option. For example, if I need 600 cards, I have to place one order for 500 and a second for 100, which results in paying shipping twice and incurring a higher per-card cost for the smaller order.

  9. When a customer is a member of a wine club and they pay their monthly fee they get a $30 store credit. We need to be able to issue store credit and have it linked to a customer profile and then when that customer makes a purchase allow us to click their store credit from their profile as a payment method.

  10. As many companies use external options for a marketing suite then Clover apps, I believe having an export of the rewards data is very valuable. Since there is no direct correlation between Rewards Users and Customers inside of your clover account, there is no dedicated API endpoint, or means of export to get rewards users, but there is for Customers. I would like to see either the relationship between Rewards Users & Customers, or a way to export Rewards Users data, as this is an easier way to keep your marketing avenues up to date and in sync with your…

  11. There should be a should a way to add discounts to specific customers. An option to have a customer pricing list that you can attach to specific customers. I run a flooring supply shop and I deal with frequent customers that are always given a set discount percentage and/or specific prices on specific items. I have to manually enter either the discount amount or percentage every single time they make a purchase. I would like the ability to set the discount automatically when the customer is added to the order.

  12. We should be able to add tags to customers for integration with apps like Mailchimp, that way they only have to be updated in one location. For example, we have customers that receive a wholesale discount of 10% or 20%. When we send promotional emails, we like to include prices specific to the customer.

  13. I have not heard of this in circulation and would be a unique feature that most point of sales do not offer. Here is the functionality.

    When a a customer calls, the system identifies the phone number and matches it to an existing customer profile in the Clover Point of sale. If a match is found the profile is displayed on the clover device, allowing staff to view or edit details, or create new sale or order. If no profile exists, it prompts the creation of a new one using the caller's information/or just phone number.

  14. We have been using the Clover rewards program for almost a year now. If a customer has a certain amount of points, say 1000 or more, and they decide to redeem a part or all, there is no option to do that. The option that is presently available is that they can only redeem 50 points out of the total. Eventually, with this method, they will keep accumulating more points without being able to benefit from it. Hence, implementing a feature that allows the customer to redeem part or all of their points at their discretion would be practical and…

  17. Enhancement for Clover Gift Card App --

    When setting up the Clover Gift Card App, enable on-screen prompts for the user so that it prevents them from setting up a secondary gift card entitlement number, causing unnecessary impact to the user. Potential probing prompts on screen, such as:

    1. Do you already have a Gift Card Entitlement Number?

      • If so, enter here ____ - then it would allow user to enter entitlement number, syncing and chaining the location to all other locations which share the same entitlement number
    2. Do you plan to use gift cards at other locations?

  19. Customers ---> Edit Customer or New Entry

    Please allow for copy/paste functionality for phone numbers.
    I have to copy/paste to the e-mail field to then type the information in the phone number field.
