Welcome to the Clover Services Forum. You're here because you are a Clover Services merchant and would like to submit ideas that you feel would enhance/improve Clover's current offerings in the Services space.

In order to submit your idea you'll need to give it a Title then select the Category that best matches your idea. Below are brief descriptions of the Clover Retail Categories.

Appointments: Ideas related to Clover’s Appointment software.

Employees: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers employee management software. This includes permissions, viewing and editing employee roles, employee satisfaction, scheduling, owner access and more. If you have tipping suggestions, please include these ideas in the Tipping category of the Taking Payments forum.

Engagement: Share your thoughts on Clover’s built-in software that allows businesses to manage customers including viewing/storing customer information.

Clover GO: Clover GO is a mobile POS system designed for businesses that need to accept payments on the go.

    1. Product images are always in portrait mode online on other websites, yet Clover's pilot program is in landscape which results in a lot more work to re-format every single product image we have in order to upload. YET once this is done and it's uploaded as per the landscape view, it previews as portrait!!

    2. The banner logo heading is showing as completely compressed even though it's a high res image.

    3. The preview page is tiny - should open up in a new tab. Impossible to check your work.

    4. Can the 'special instructions' on the preview page be turned off?

  1. Description: Option to Remove quantity feature on the published website page.

    Currently, when customer access the merchant's online ordering website. Click on an item. Select Breakfast, and then clicked 2 Eggs Breakfast w/ Meat. A popup box associated with 2 Egg Breakfast w/ Meat. Select, for example, Wheat. The Customer gets the option to add & subtract the item quantity.

    This merchant advised Wheat bread is added to the meal, not an individual purchased item. So they want an option to hide/remove the quantity feature for all menu items.

  2. As of now the order printer when removed from the printer settings keeps coming back everytime the DUO reboots or the next day after the device goes to sleep.
    Can we find a way to have the order printer removed completely and no having come back.

  3. When processing a payment on the virtual terminal it should have an option that is built in to the initial transaction to send the receipt as a text or via the email

  4. The call to edit feature should give the option to route us to the correct department for the feature on the dashboard that needs to edited.

  5. We have Clover Flex's setup for a local Credit Union with many branch offices that offer the Cash Advance service to customers that want to take out a cash advance on their credit card. They would like to restrict their employees from attempting cash advances over $5k without manager approval. Would like to have the Clover device set up so it will prompt for manager override on transactions over $5k. The $5k could be a customizable field like you have for Offline Transactions.

  6. On Clover Merchant Portal:
    - button to import .csv file to batch overwrite customer data
    - button to intelligently merge duplicate customer entries
    - button to delete customer entries that match batch criteria (e.g. "MANUALLY ENTERED")
    - button to automatically batch rewrite customer name fields with correct capitalization instead of all caps
    - intelligent backup system for customer database (at very least, revert to previous version upon .csv import - while keeping entries from new customers generated externally in the meantime)

  8. Please integrate skip the dishes as well to the clover system same as uber eats and door dash (canada)
    So that it auto accept the orders and all sales are at one place

  9. The new layout is creating major problems:

    Inventory Columns Not Saving
    Every time we log in or out, all the selected inventory table columns reset. There is no way to save the selection, which wastes time and is extremely frustrating. This should be a simple and essential fix that must be addressed ASAP.

    Search Function Not Reliable
    The new search function often produces false or inconsistent results, even with a UPC code. Scanning the same UPC can bring up 10 results the first time, then 6 the next, and it can take 3–4 attempts just to get the correct one.

  10. since the new program I purchased we have not had one order through clover. customers are required to sign in with email phone number. let the know if they have the app they don't have to do all of that. that just may help. that's ridiculous/

  11. It would help manage the business if instead of (or in addition to) a "Business Name" field you could add and name a field. Not all customers belong to a business, however we need to collect critical information like "player name", "student name", "child's name" etc

  12. The new 2FA on employee pins means that admins cannot change employee pins. It asks to send a code to a number not listed. Most merchants need thier management team to change and/or edit pins. This was possible before, needs to be allowed again. We have a merchant that needs to re-assign 800 pins...

  14. Merchant wants a redeemable raffle ticket linked to customer profiles that the customers pay for. For example, $100 ticket for all you can eat gourmet buffet on Sunday) this would need to be redeemable on the device and linked to the customer profile. Customers should be able to purchase on the clover consumer app or in store. Apparently other systems already have this option.

  15. Currently Clover notifications sent to cardholders are sent in either English or French based on what language the merchant is set up for, could we add a language toggle to notifications and web portal links (invoices) so merchants can be notified in their preferred language.

  16. We would like to take a survey or have the customer input a satisfactory rating 1-5 stars after a purchase is made. Hoping if we can link customer transactions to satisfactory rating we may have a better chance at fighting chargebacks for the merchant.

  17. The transaction Process take too long. there is a 13 step process to complete a transaction.
    process to run an EBT Transaction or PIN Debit:
    Click New Sale on the main unit.
    Enter the transaction amount on the main unit.
    Press Enter on the main unit.
    Select Card Payment on the main unit.
    Transaction begins—waiting time (~6 seconds).
    Tap Enter on the Pinpad.
    Processing on the Pinpad.
    Continued processing.
    Enter PIN.
    Press Enter to confirm.
    Remove the card.
    Final processing.
    Select EBT Benefit (if applicable).
    Press Enter

  18. When I charge a customer for a poster print we charge by the foot. So if the poster is 2 feet then perfect I just put it into the system as 2 feet. but if its 2 feet 4 inches. then I have to manually calculate the decimal amount because 2 ft 4 in is 2.33. Because there are 12 inches in a foot.

  19. ALL decent loyalty programs require customers to earn status each year -- it is not a cumulative lifetime thing. Making the "Regular" and "VIP" status something to earn annually would bring you to maybe the year 2000 in terms of relevancy of tools.
