Welcome to the Clover Services Forum.  You're here because you are a Clover Services merchant and would like to submit ideas that you feel would enhance/improve Clover's current offerings in the Services space. 

In order to submit your idea you'll need to give it a Title then select the Category that best matches your idea.  Below are brief descriptions of the Clover Retail Categories.

Appointments: Ideas related to Clover’s Appointment software.

Employees: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers employee management software. This includes permissions, viewing and editing employee roles, employee satisfaction, scheduling, owner access and more. If you have tipping suggestions, please include these ideas in the Tipping category of the Taking Payments forum.

Engagement: Share your thoughts on Clover’s built-in software that allows businesses to manage customers including viewing/storing customer information.
Clover GO: Clover GO is a mobile POS system designed for businesses that need to accept payments on the go.

Hardware: Ideas related to Clover hardware in the Restaurant space

Inventory: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clover’s inventory management software.

  1. When the merchant sends a invoice the customer should have the option to leave a tip and make a partial payment this way the merchant does not have to waste time sending out another invoice.

  2. It used to be where I could turn OFF this setting and then it would be turned back on after a period of time. Now, the setting is always required to be ON. If this is the case, then don't have the setting to turn it OFF or ON because it would not be necessary.

  3. Just moved business to clover max and have 14 terminals all linked. There's no option to manually settle machines. You need to wait until they auto settle everyday.. silly.

    There's two auto settle reporting options:

    1. Group all employee sales together under Quick Access and nobody can find what their individual sales were.
    2. Have everyone log in but all 15 machines print 5ft long settlements every settlement including all employee sales on every settlement, 15 times across all machines.

    This is the silliest and worst feature I can imagine, and I've never seen this problem with another company. Possibly annoying enough…

  4. Merge customer profiles if multiple are accidentally created in order to maintain customer records and history and loyalty tracking.

  5. Thousands of spam customers were added (not sure how!) and need to be deleted but currently the only option is to do so one by one. They are all from the same invalid domain @example.com so would be very easy to bulk delete. Not sure why this isn't a feature already.

  7. Please provide me report for hourly trend sales per monthly basis. I get hourly net sale trend only per day. I need trends per month. Thank you and please respond.

  9. Need the ability to create a Recurring Invoice that automatically emails a recipient with a Payment Link that allows them to enter their payment themselves.

  10. My issue is when we pay sales tax we have to report our taxable items sold and also our non-taxable items sold. Your current reporting shows both of these line items, but it does not go any further. I need to be able to select the non taxable items and see how the clover got to the number it did so I can then be able to report it to the government. There is currently no way to see the items that clover added together to get the non-taxable amount.
    I would really like to see the sales tax reports…

  11. I have multiple users on my clover account - and the two factor code to authorize them to go on our account - only comes to my phone. Can you consider adding additional phone numbers to my profile so we all would get the code to our phones? If I'm out of the country or asleep or unreachable - this is not working for us. I would love to add all my colleagues to the account profile to avoid this. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you

  12. Salon's as a professional service, collect deposits for the ability to charge in advance and credit the subtotal so that they are not any no shows. if the customer does not show up they charge the deposit

  14. Why is there no direct link to the developer page within the main dashboard of your account. It makes absolutely no sense to have to make yet another login to get into the developers area. This way anything you develop is linked back to your account.

  15. It would make adding or making mass edits to items if there is a "previous item and next item" buttons on the top somewhere when edit a single item. This would just take you to the next item in the list you were in. instead of backing out and finding the next item.

  16. The ability to edit the price when going into Register and selecting the item. Have a toggle switch for edit pricing under Price Per Copy with no quantity limits.
    Variable pricing does not work
    because it limits the quantity count.

    Our old POS had a check box for adjusted pricing. Whenever we pull up that product, let's say a color copy at $.039, we could click on the price and change the cost immediately when creating an order. All of this without going back into Inventory and changing the price. It's a price change just for that particular order then…

  17. Please allow the remaining balance on a gift card to automatically print on the payment receipt. It slows down a business when they need to go to the gift card app to see the balance

  19. The merchant would like a feature to allow individual user id to pull reports that only show what that individual user id has captured in sales. We are an academic institution with certain levels of information (donors) that we don't want student employees seeing. However still want the students to have access to the reporting function. So we need them to be able to pull reports but have certain information blocked out to their specific account reports
