  1. I recently changed from a 3rd party app in Clover to Clover's built-in surcharge functionality for interac and credit transactions. The credit portion works perfectly, the surcharge is always charged on credit transitions (tap or not). HOWEVER, your interac functionality is faulty! It will not charge the surcharge on tap transactions, it only charges on transactions where the customer inserts their card. This is a bug in my mind! Why would we not want surcharge applied to all interac transactions? The 3rd party app did so, so it's not a interac rule. It's clearly a bug in your software. Please…

  2. For medical/dental offices we don't need "Your Order" at the top of the form. It makes it look like they are ordering tacos, not paying a medical bill. The whole form needs to be editable in order to customize it for offices besides those "taking orders".

  3. Why doesn't a Clover Compact allow for manually keyed in transaction, when attempting an Authorization Only? This is supported on all other devices.

  4. Customer can easily click on more options and switch to EBT and pay with EBT even if they purchased items like liquor

  5. On the register app, the merchant needs to select tender, but some customers inserts their cards in the payment device such as mini on Clover Duo before the merchant makes the tender selection. Please program the device in a way that when the card is inserted, the tender type will be automatically credit card or the merchant can simply hit the confirm button to proceed with the credit card sale. Currently, when the card holder inserts their card before the tender type is selected, the merchant facing screen waits for the merchant to select the tender and the card holder…

  6. Clover should give an option to change the long receipt barcode into fewer numbers. I have to note down the transaction ID or barcode for review purposes later on. Printing out is impossible. It is much better to key a few numbers then I can pull the previous transaction again whenever I need quickly.

  7. There is a new update that autoprints when a transaction is declined. In the past in our busy environment we would leave the client with the processor to pay while helping other customers (high volume bar) and we could see that the transaction went thru from across the bar and acknowledge payment. It now prints even when the transaction is declined. Has caused us much grief and lost payments. It should be an option to turn this off especially because it was not a feature before.

  8. pre authorization needs a way to send a link to the customer so we do not have to have them speak their number over the phone. it's safer for the customer to not broadcast that information. it does it on invoice (with VERY little info) But then it's a final charged fees transaction and is not in the pre authorization phase. customers may not feel safe telling someone their card over the phone. and as a vendor i don't really want to hear, write down or have their full card information in my knowledge base for safety risk and identity…

Currently, using any browser other than Google Chrome to make a payment is intermittent (suddenly, this past week since the down time of last week 02/20/24) when clients make payments through the widget on my website that was developed via your site. This is an issue for those with Macs and others who for reasons of their own work, use other browsers. only 3 out of 20 times today was I able to go in and have the payment processed via firefox, for example. why not have your widget open in google chrome and close when done.   12. Ability to remove digital payments (Google/Samsung/Paze) from HCO. These payment types do not allow for the customer to enter mandatory fields that have been set by Merchant. It buy passes the field requirements.

  13. We need to be able to send an invoice to another email other than original email WITHOUT creating a new invoice number. For accounting purposes, this new invoice number can create a nightmare.

  14. Current Problem:    Hello, The 4% increase will only apply to items in inventory and those items would have needed to have been added before Cash Discount increase was enabled.

    Need: Hello I would like to see the items run as a sale that may not be in the inventory but paid by credit card increased by 4%

  16. In the retail space merchants need the ability to track quantities of inventory for variants and even adjust pricing for specific variants of a product. This is not currently a capability. You can have variants, but you cannot assign them a quantity.

    Example:

    A retail store has a blue shirt that comes in sizes Small, Medium and Large. Currently within the Clover Inventory Management System, the only way to accurately track the inventory of these items is to enter each shirt size as its own item because variants do not have the capability to have the inventory quantities tracked.

  17. The need for a system to pay out lottery winnings is a must. The app available for negative payouts does not show on the receipt. We need a way to allow, even the possibility of a partial payment using a added payment type of "Lotto Winnings"!

  18. It's mindblowing that Clover has yet to implement a feature to allow for the rounding of cash totals to the nearest penny. The US Mint announced it had ceased minting pennies back in November, and yet Clover won't have a feature to support rounding cash values to the nearest nickel until June.
    This feature is CRITICAL to cash transactions across the U.S. as many banks have already stopped stockpiling pennies. This feature should have been available on Jan 1 at the latest.
    Clover should make this the company's top priority. It should be simple to implement, and it is affecting…

  19. For merchant's that use the "Sell Gift Cards Online" feature, it would be great if there were a settings section to make some customizations or adjustments to the landing page such as:
    1. Ability to upload a gift card image so it's not just the green clover gift card image
    2. Ability to adjust what the default gift card purchase amount shows (currently it defaults to $5.00 in the amount field). It would be great if you could set the default amount in the amount field to something different.

  20. Can you add feature to remind you of the open orders before processing closeout. If you could add a feature/ permission to not let it closeout until open orders are completed/ closed.
