  1. Merchants cannot respond to retrieval requests thru Clover even though the merchant gets a Clover email that they have a certain amount of time to respond to what the email makes it seem is a Chargeback. Either stop merchants from getting these emails to respond when they can't OR add the functionality to respond to Retrieval Requests in Clover like Chargebacks.

  2. Declines should show the native network response on the Clover dashboard so merchants can know why a payment declined. Ideally, the decline reason should also show on the hosted checkout at time of sale.
    This includes Telecheck declines: currently, some Telecheck declines do not even show up on the dashboard at all. This leads people to believe that there is a front-end error instead of a decline.
    Having detailed decline descriptions pulling from the native network response code would help in troubleshooting declines immensely.

  3. Exiting Open Orders: When the merchant backs out of an order or tries to cancel, the order it remains open. Can we create a popup with example wording, "No payment was processed. If you exit, the order will remain open and can be completed or deleted later." ? This way the merchant knows they are not losing any money or had any failed payments.

  4. Ability to remove digital payments (Google/Samsung/Paze) from HCO. These payment types do not allow for the customer to enter mandatory fields that have been set by Merchant. It buy passes the field requirements.

  5. The Compact Compact does not have a reprint button. If you run out of paper while processing a transaction and need to reprint a receipt it can’t be done. This function is a must as all the other Clover family devices can reprint receipts.

  6. We need to be able to send an invoice to another email other than original email WITHOUT creating a new invoice number. For accounting purposes, this new invoice number can create a nightmare.

  7. Current Problem:    Hello, The 4% increase will only apply to items in inventory and those items would have needed to have been added before Cash Discount increase was enabled.

    Need: Hello I would like to see the items run as a sale that may not be in the inventory but paid by credit card increased by 4%

  9. In the retail space merchants need the ability to track quantities of inventory for variants and even adjust pricing for specific variants of a product. This is not currently a capability. You can have variants, but you cannot assign them a quantity.

    Example:

    A retail store has a blue shirt that comes in sizes Small, Medium and Large. Currently within the Clover Inventory Management System, the only way to accurately track the inventory of these items is to enter each shirt size as its own item because variants do not have the capability to have the inventory quantities tracked.

  10. The need for a system to pay out lottery winnings is a must. The app available for negative payouts does not show on the receipt. We need a way to allow, even the possibility of a partial payment using a added payment type of "Lotto Winnings"!

  11. There should be an option to text an invoice (link) to our customers' numbers on file instead of only emailing an invoice. Many customers use multiple emails or no emails and only use their phone to connect to Apple Wallets and such.

  12. I have a lot of client sthat use xxxx and are able to add a quantity to their QR Codes. So If the customer want s to buy multiple of the what is on QR code, When they scan it, they are able to put a quantity and it will calculate the total.

  13. It's mindblowing that Clover has yet to implement a feature to allow for the rounding of cash totals to the nearest penny. The US Mint announced it had ceased minting pennies back in November, and yet Clover won't have a feature to support rounding cash values to the nearest nickel until June.
    This feature is CRITICAL to cash transactions across the U.S. as many banks have already stopped stockpiling pennies. This feature should have been available on Jan 1 at the latest.
    Clover should make this the company's top priority. It should be simple to implement, and it is affecting…

  14. For cash payments, we have found that prices are not rounded.

    For example, a purchase of $1.27 rounded up to $1.30 or

    When refunding, instead of $3.02, round up to $3 or instead of $2.78, round up to $2.80.

    This worked very well on our old cash register system.

  15. For merchant's that use the "Sell Gift Cards Online" feature, it would be great if there were a settings section to make some customizations or adjustments to the landing page such as:
    1. Ability to upload a gift card image so it's not just the green clover gift card image
    2. Ability to adjust what the default gift card purchase amount shows (currently it defaults to $5.00 in the amount field). It would be great if you could set the default amount in the amount field to something different.
