  1. Allow merchant to edit recurring payment amount one time. Sometimes the merchant has members that either pay partially in another form or get a discount for one reason or another and it would be nice for a single month's billing to be edited. Another option would be to allow split payments.

  2. My business model is mostly recurring membership-based. Clover does not give me the option to send a link to collect my clients' card information to create a recurring membership. If I want to create a recurring payment process, I would have to be face-to-face with my client to collect their card information. Why can't I send them a link so they can enter their card information and allow me to create their recurring membership? In 2025, this is the opposite of efficiency, and if I can't have that, then it is a deal-breaker.

  4. Merchant is looking for doing recurring billings every 4 weeks, rather than monthly. Adding this as a feature would be great.

  5. When a recurring payment fails, only the client is notified and they would need to take action to correct. We are a service company with some recurring payments and would like to be notified when one of those payments fail, so we can decide whether to call the client or suspend service.

  6. When our customers payment fails there should be a retry button beside it so that if the customer says to retry the card we can simply click it. First Data when they were around made it so easy to retry a failed or declined payment. Please add this clickable button to rerun a customers card!

  7. I’d like to offer my customers the ability to pay over time but, instead of as a reoccurring payment, using a total amount.

    This way the total amount could be entered;
    -their choice of initial payment made, perhaps a % of the total;
    -reoccurrence selected as weekly or monthly - on a certain day/date (respectively).

    Then instead of having a date range to close out the bill, it will automatically when the sum is reached. The benefit being the customer can put down as much as they want initially, and then pay off the rest, which is generally less than…

  8. When a recurring payment fails, it shows up as having run, but not failed unless you open the transaction. An email sent to the admin showing failed payments would be a great help!!!

  9. Hello, I have a client who would prefer to not have upcoming reminder emails sent to them. They only want an email sent when the card has been charged. There is not a way to turn this off in your system. It would be nice to have that option for my client.

  10. We are an iso and have many merchants using this system. When they are billed for Clover services, they get billed at random times ! Is there way to setup recurring billing to bill merchants either at the end of month or at the beginning of the month ? Having random billing creates discrepancies. Thank you !

  11. I am able to send customers a link or a QR code to make a payment and/or donations but there is no options for them to set up a recurring payment and/or donation

    As a admin I able to do so but I would it be efficient and easier if a customer was able to set up a recurring payment on their own, make edits and cancel recurring payments

  12. When a merchant sets up recurring payments, they can set the start date but not the start time. If they want the transaction to be billed at a specific time, is that possible? Or is the billing time random? Or is the time based on the time the recurring payment was set up? Can a start time field be added after the start date?

  13. In addition to the planned update of being able to enter a new expiration date for a saved card without having to put all of the customers card information in, it would also be helpful to be able to update a new customer address without having to put all of the card information back into the terminal for a recurring payment.

  14. It would be beneficial to be able to choose what time recurring payments run. They currently run willy nilly and does not even correlate to what time they were input having some run at 9:30pm when our office is not even open. If we could choose to have all recurring payments run at the same time, that would be best.

  15. In Recurring payments, the merchent now does not have the ability to set up a start and stop date in the "Plan". We NEED this feature back. It also now runs the card as soon as you set up a "customer". ALSO VERY BAD. Please revert back to the original format with a start and a stop date and do not run "customer" until start date. This was a terrible "upgrade" and is making way more work for the merchant as now we have to manually run all of these payments every week/month.

  16. If I have a client that has a payment due in 5 days, but they wish to pay today but their payment is on (pending status). I can't remove them from a pending status. I can remove the payment plan and delete it, and that payment will still be pending. I would have to charge them, leave the payment that's pending, only to return it. I need flexibility for my clients. Another client that had an extra recurring payment as error and because they were in (Pending Status) I could not stop the payment. I called Clover, and I was…

  18. In Customer List – Business Name does not appear as a column. Clover Support recommended that they put Business Name in First Name field as a workaround.

    Recurring Payments – there isn’t a column to show Next Run payment date, only Last Run

  19. Currently you can "pause" an entire plan, but not an individuals card. We should be able to "pause" an individuals card within a plan instead of having to delete it and then re-enter it. A "resume" date feature would be great with this also.

  20. Add a link in a recurring invoice for the recipient to pay manually when the card on file does not process.
    Currently if the card attached does not process, a new invoice has to be created. That is an unnecessary step.
