Welcome to the feedback forum for Apps and the Clover App Marketplace. Please share your ideas for how we can improve the user experience of the Clover App Marketplace as well as how different types of apps offered can be enhanced. We are listening and we use this feedback to prioritize our roadmap.

1. App Marketplace Functionality: Share your thoughts on how the App Marketplace as a whole can function more effectively. Is it easy to find the apps that you are looking for?

2. Suggestions for Current Apps: Tell us what new features you would like to see on existing apps. Make sure to include specific app names in your comments/ideas when possible. If you are providing an idea for a generic category of existing apps (e.g. all loyalty apps), please include your suggestion here.

  1. Rather than having to download all of these third party apps to make all of the Clover apps communicate with each other? One of our biggest competitors can do things much more seamlessly, rather than having to download a paid third party app.

  4. Need a Hotel and lodging/booking app. There is nothing that even touches on this industry and I have multiple restaurants that are in hotels or resorts owned by the same people but we cant integrate into their hotels, So they have to have a separate system. It is frustrating!!

  6. I have a big restaurant where we need the ability to have 2 for 1 drinks during our happy hour. Currently I'm only able to discount by percentage or a specific dollar amount. Can we please program the ability for 2 for 1.

  7. When Billing, add the MID to the Clover Marketplace App Charges on the ACH pull. For our enterprise clients that have a number of Clover devices across the organization, they cannot differentiate which charges go to which MID.

  8. Recently, we downloaded an app. The functionality and support we received from the developer were horrid. As a result, we left a negative review. The review was up for 1-2 months and has since been removed. We contacted Clover to find out how and why this was done. We were told that developers have the discretion to remove reviews. So in a nut shell, there is no transparency. If a developer decides to remove bad removes, their 5-star rating is totally skewed. It's not accurate. How do you guys allow these developers to pick and choose what reviews they keep…

  9. Used to own a restaurant for 10 years and I used LAVU on ipads. I could command my sonos and spotify from the ipad while i was bartending. This made controlling the ambiance very easy. Now I work for gravitypayments and I sell clovers and that is one feature that is lacking IMO....as not important as it sounds it would make a difference im sure.

  10. Merchants who wish to cancel the Orderout app are unable to do so because the app support doesn't take calls and emails are being ignored. Merchants are being forced to report the app as fraaud through their bank to cancel the recurring payments.

  11. There is no way for developers to get help. We've sent multiple requests to the developer relations email, and at first got a response, but before they were able to help us, they stopped responding. Now we haven't heard back in 3 months. The community forum is full of spam and bots selling services.

    We have a very small ask and just need a response from developer relations. It's not a new feature, it would probably take less than 5 minutes to setup.

  12. One merchant had an unfortunate situation where a dishonest employee was able to download the app on his phone and gain access to the dashboard. We deleted the employee from system entirely and discovered the email is no longer accepted on the app - this is true if anyone's email is deleted from the dashboard - is it possible to create permissions on who is even allowed to download the app, depending on their role within the business?

  13. It would be great to upgrade the app market billing emails we send to merchants. One merchant needed an invoice for her accountant. If instead of sending just the email notifying the merchant of the charges, could we instead send an actual invoice, with the GST number and the breakdown, so that accountants and bookkeepers can use it to submit to the CRA?

  14. Direct debits from DDAs does not work for everyone. We need additional ways to pay app market fees, credit card, check, or echeck would be great options. This is for App and SaaS Billing,
