Virtual Receipt
Virtual Terminal is useless for our vacation rental except to take payments. It is geared primarily to restaurants. Clover took over for Payeezy which had a more efficient virtual functionality for our business.
The name should appear on the paid receipt without having to save every time. Many guests are one time customers. Only the amount paid shows up.
Again, the name of the paying guest should appear on transaction detail. If I have to refund, I have to go through several paid receipt.
Our guest's' credit card information is 99% from booking platforms. The CVV nor the Zip code should be required when charging.
Recharging a guest who decides to stay is not an option by using prior credit card information.
I am very dissatisifed with Clover virtual. Payeezy was easier, quicker and had more functions related to the business.
Hello,
We believe most of your concerns have been addressed with product enhancements released over the last two months.
You can use the card on file, or the duplicate payment function and process a payment without CVV or Zip code.
Clover does require merchants to create customers in order to show the name on the digital receipt.
Thank you,
Clover Product

We were forced to change over to Clover from Payeezy. This changed happened with zero input from my company and zero support from clover. Honestly i received an email at 10:30pm and the next day we had to figure out how to use this system with no guidance. Yesterday was our first time using this. We only process credit cards via virtual terminal. We have lost the ability to print receipts when completing a transaction, lost the ability to have multiple sections to input information about the sale, we no longer have as much information on our reports (these are basically just amounts of transactions with no other information) our money was not in our bank this morning as we are accustom to. The customer Name is not required as such it is also not on the reporting side. I am sure this would work well for a restaurant, but for a auto dealer this is not a viable option! Every transaction here is attached to a customer, with a customer number and an invoice. To loose all of that information is not acceptable.
