We at Honey Truffle request that Clover engineers adapt the system/tills to
a) Allow customers to combine orders with over 500 items
This is particularly relevant in a busy hospitality industry where corporate customers may carry a tab. When business/clover customer is presenting final invoice/bill at end of e.g. month, the customer also requires that VAT total and breakdown of taxes are transparent. Hence the requirement to have a facility to carry a tab with over 500 items. In a daytime e.g. cafe for example, in excess of 500 items are easily stored on our clover system in one month, for one customer. Last month, August, Honey Truffle had to manually add each item, then manually work out the total of each of our VAT rates etc and total all for our customer. This defeats the purpose of having the clover system for this purpose as it currently operates with quantity limits. Prehaps each clover customer/business, should have the option of extending to beyond items if desired to suit their business, rather than 'once size fits all' model? We look forward to hearing your feedback, as promptly as possible.
