An error occurred while saving the comment David Jackson commentedMany other competing restaurant systems have "Pre Modifiers". These would be "extra" "No" "on the side" "Lite" "sub" etc... The user could tap the pre modifier of "no" and then tap the "onion" modifier to request "No Onions"... This makes maintenance of the menu in the POS a lot easier. This would be great to have in the Clover inventory structure.

This would require Clover to create a relatively complex store credit function that tracks store credit for a merchants customers. Unfortunately, we have no plans to do this.

An error occurred while saving the comment David Jackson commentedthere are many instances where merging of 2 customer records is necesary... especially if using this data for marketing purposes. In the customer database, it would also be good if there were easier tools for identifying and eliminating duplicate customer records. A mass delete feature would be great for this purpose.

This can speed up the order entry process for the business. Many small-medium sized businesses have requested this functionality through my organization.

I'd like to jump in and say that this is a must. Most restaurants use the Service Charge feature for Gratuity... its the only way to assign automatic gratuity to an order (even though its kind of manual). However, this fee needs to show in tips. Maybe we have a setting where clients can check a box indicating whether or not the service charge should be counted as Tips. Since not all clients would use it the same way.
