Comparing sales comps to the same DAY (last week or last year) and NOT the same DATE is what we need. Currently it compares the exact date year over year but we need to compare a Monday vs. Monday or Saturday vs. Saturday, etc for the information to be useful. Comparing DATES leads to comparing different days which is not helpful for restaurants/retail. ALSO, comparing HOURLY trends is needed. If I check sales at 9am vs. previous week, is shows me sales until 9am vs. the ENTIRE day of the previous week. (Knowing I am down 94% because it's only 9am is not useful). It should compare by HOUR so that at a glance we can see where we are for the day vs. previous period up to the current hour. xxx trend report does both of these things and it is VERY useful.
