When inventory is uploaded, I have to manually go into each item and select "automatically manage availability". There should either be a bulk edit option to change this for all inventory or have an option within settings to have it be the default method of tracking inventory instead of manually tracking being the default method. This, along with inventory alerts when stock quantities get low would be hugely beneficial.
