    Gift Card App (Red App) If a customer wishes to buy multiple gift cards in different amounts. Say 10 gifts cards in 10 different amounts. The Merchant will have to run 10 different transactions. 10 swipes of the customers credit card. So the Merchant is incurring swipe fees 10 times instead of 1 on the credit card side and 10 times on the gift card side.

    Gift Card App (Red App) Currently this app does not allow for the purchase of items and a gift card in one transaction. The merchant has to do two transactions, which means two swipes.
