Welcome to the feedback forum for Clover Customer Engagement Features. Please share your ideas for how we can update our Clover software to improve customer experiences, increase traffic, and retain loyalty for merchants. Specifically, this forum should only include ideas about built-in functions on the Clover Dashboard (feedback on customer engagement apps should be included in the Apps/App Marketplace forum). We are listening and we use this feedback to prioritize our roadmap.

  1. Merchant would like to add locker numbers to customers' profiles for tracking purposes and be able to merge customers together to stop duplicate profiles when different cards are used for payment

  3. I think it would be great if a customer could register, or at least be notified on the screen when they sign for their order, for our rewards program. We do not print receipts for customers unless they request one, and they don't always want a receipt (email or paper), so the best way for customers to know about a rewards program, and to join would be on the screen after they pay or while paying!

  4. The merchant stated on the dashboard the customers are in alphabetical order. However, on the device they are not. Confirmed with our test device here that on the device the customers are not alphabetized. As a workaround, advised the customer to search for the customer she wanted. However, she stated she would like for it to be the same as the dashboard.

  5. Merchant's would like to be able to load the gift and not have to sell it right away and would like to be able to pay for it with other items

  6. This is exactly what Square does, and it works wonderfully and seamlessly. When a customer pays at a Square terminal with a credit card and inputs their email address for a receipt, the card number and email are automatically associated and saved across the network. From then on, any Square terminal will automatically email a receipt to the same address when that card number is processed.

    Presumably some customers will not want this option, even if the address isn’t used for marketing purposes, so there should be a way to opt out.

  7. Allowing the data fields in the customer app to accept input from a bar code scanner would help employees easily find a client if they have a customer card assigned to them.

  8. *Having issues selling merchandise and a gift card in 1 transaction.
    *Not able to sell multiple gift cards of varied amt in 1 transaction.
    *Would like to be able to have a receipt issued for each gift card sold when doing multiple gift cards of same value.
    We were able to do this in valuelink before.

  9. Merchant would like the Clover Device to save Customers's email address so that they do not have to type in the email each time for receipts, especially if it is a returning customer.

  12. I process for a growing franchise called Outer Banks Boil Company. The annual growth is absolutely exponential. They specialize in low-country boils where they offer "Pots to go" for people that want to steam themselves, or catering where they come to your vacation home and do on-site boils. Currently the Clover Gift Cards app allows you brand your physical gift cards, however you cannot do so digitally.   13. Need to be able to enter customer information on a Clover Go order. Since it already creates a customer it should be able to put in their information.

  17. Clover rewards should allow for a dollar amount off a specific item. Currently I can only do a discount off the total cost of the transaction

  19. Merchants are looking for a streamlined way to sell e-gift cards. The functionality is in Gyft for big box retailers, would be awesome to extend it to SMB sized businesses using Clover.

  20. Please, please, please add the features below asap...
    -Allow merchants to merge duplicate customer profiles
    -Allow merchants to export all of the sales data for individual customers (needed for frequent buyer programs etc.)
    -Provide different options for sorting customer names
    -The customer search function needs to retrieve any part of the customer's name. For example if the customer has two last names the search function only works if you search for the first one
