Merging Clients
Being able to merge clients in the "customers app".
i.e. Joe Schmoe has come 15 times, but his past purchases are not all under the same profile. He has multiple profiles. If I need to look up past orders, I have to scroll through each one. I know I can create a new order under that name, but the existing profiles of him wont account.

Have the option to remove a customer and ban them
We need to be able to block or ban a customer. I had an employee sign up, save customer printed receipts and then collect all of the points and redeem the points on cash paying tables and pocket the discounted amount that was paid.

More Functionality
We are a service business and need to accept booking deposits. I need the additional functions have an area for "Notes" for me to see only, the ability to have two due date, accept partial payment, create templates, create items or services and multiple emails for sharing invoices. Auto Reminders that can be shared.

Customer Engagement
It's too time consuming to "add customer" when you quickly need to take a payment......The suggestion is to show the card holders name in the transaction history so when we need to confirm that a payment was made we can see the clients name, regardless if we did not "add customer"

Additional Features
I think some good features to have on Clover would be the following: being able to merge customers profiles as well as putting in customer info after time of sale if it was not put in at time of sale.
For example. We have returning customers who sometimes pay with credit cards Jane C. Smith and Jane Smith or they pay with a card with another name on it. Therefore, because they pay with 2 different cards or more they could then have 2 possible accounts in our profile. I would like to merge their transaction history for us to…

Customer Numbers
Can we add a customizable customer number with new and/or existing customers.
Different software programs (payroll, AP/AR for example) have identifiable numbers associated with each employee and (or) customer.
Having this show up in the reports under its own column, to identify the customer by name and number so we can easily identify across different software programs. This feature would minimize manual entries and spreadsheets.
On receipts, it would be helpful to view the customer # with other customer information (when the option is selected in receipt view)

cap on maximum dollar amount for discounts applied to a single invoice.
I am writing to request a feature addition to the discount app and the rewards app in the form of a cap on the maximum dollar amount that can be applied to a single invoice. It has been observed that our customers often redeem their rewards or discounts with a considerable purchase, say a large catering order. In such scenarios, allowing unlimited dollar redemption can lead to loss of revenue and subsequent financial burden on the business. Therefore, to mitigate such risks, it is essential to have a cap on the maximum dollar amount that can be discounted per invoice.

I would like to have the customer's name show up on my side of the screen (larger screen) not just on their screen when they sign into their reward account. I would like to be able to thank them by name at the end of the transaction. Since the customer's name shows up on the small screen (the small box that that sign in on) it should be easy to add it to my screen behind the counter. Thanks!!!

Customer Rewards on Clover Flex & Non- Tethered Devices
I would like the ability after adding a customer to an order through phone number, being able to access their rewards via "Select Customer" without having to use the mobile app. Same goes for non-tethered devices or clover flex. Not all customers like the mobile rewards app, and we have drive thru setup & some people find it easier to give us their phone number so we can enter in their rewards.

Annual passholder discount card
We have annual Pass holders that our previous POS system had the ability to scan their pass and give discounts on the items they purchased. Employees had a higher discount with there cards and it was different depending on if it was food or retail. It also allowed us to have a more secure system and stop employees from giving out the discount of their choosing as a pass had to be scanned which also recorded the guests name. Hoping you have such a thing or can implement it?

Bring back Rewards to all Cigar Shops
My shops have been singled out of the Rewards program without notice. Please bring back Rewards to all cigar shops. I have many customers that have thousands of points and I have no way of how to reward them. I don't have access now to how many points they have. My customers have found many other cigar shops still on the clover app yet my shops were pulled. Your marketing company needs to quit trying to social engineer adult behavior and get back to making great POS hardware and software.

Merchants would like the ability to search the customer app by using the Company name field
The merchant would like to be able to search his customers by First and last name and as well by company name. Right now the only search options are phone numbers, email, first & last name. But we are unable to search by company name.

Exclude modifiers from reward redemptions
Modifiers are considered upgrades, therefore they should not be included in the redemption of points/rewards. Especially if the perk is for a free item. A free item valued at $8 then becomes a free item valued at $12 or more due to multiple modifiers being added which hurts a small business.

Sort customer list by surname as an option.
I have a membership program for my business. It would be really helpful if the customer list could be sorted by Surname instead of by first name only.

Allow merchants the ability to text customers updates on their order that was placed thru the clover app or from the merchants website.

chargeback due to 3D secure not used
Hi,
We are seeing chargebacks from Clover online ordering and the reason has been 3D secure was not used. How do we prevent this from happening ? This happened more than once and we use clover online ordering platform and this is where the chargebacks are coming from. Both the times reason was "Visa 3D secure" was not used and we keep losing the disputes. If this continues we'll have to close our doors.
Anyone from clover can help ? This is urgent.

Customer Notifications
There needs to options for which notifications Customers Receive. For example - if I need to remove all old active invoice from my recurring payment plans to change a transaction start date- I do not need my Customer to be notified. This has caused a lot of confusion for the customer and me. I have no way of knowing what all notifications Clover is sending to my Customers.

Clover Go Customer info missing
Clover go needs to be able to input customer info: name, email, phone number, etc. This is super important for marketing and follow-up, and I can't believe you left this important function out.
