Welcome to the feedback forum for Clover Customer Engagement Features. Please share your ideas for how we can update our Clover software to improve customer experiences, increase traffic, and retain loyalty for merchants. Specifically, this forum should only include ideas about built-in functions on the Clover Dashboard (feedback on customer engagement apps should be included in the Apps/App Marketplace forum). We are listening and we use this feedback to prioritize our roadmap.

  1. My shops have been singled out of the Rewards program without notice. Please bring back Rewards to all cigar shops. I have many customers that have thousands of points and I have no way of how to reward them. I don't have access now to how many points they have. My customers have found many other cigar shops still on the clover app yet my shops were pulled. Your marketing company needs to quit trying to social engineer adult behavior and get back to making great POS hardware and software.

  2. The merchant would like to be able to search his customers by First and last name and as well by company name. Right now the only search options are phone numbers, email, first & last name. But we are unable to search by company name.

  3. Modifiers are considered upgrades, therefore they should not be included in the redemption of points/rewards. Especially if the perk is for a free item. A free item valued at $8 then becomes a free item valued at $12 or more due to multiple modifiers being added which hurts a small business.

  4. I have a membership program for my business. It would be really helpful if the customer list could be sorted by Surname instead of by first name only.

  5. Allow merchants the ability to text customers updates on their order that was placed thru the clover app or from the merchants website.

  6. Hi,
    We are seeing chargebacks from Clover online ordering and the reason has been 3D secure was not used. How do we prevent this from happening ? This happened more than once and we use clover online ordering platform and this is where the chargebacks are coming from. Both the times reason was "Visa 3D secure" was not used and we keep losing the disputes. If this continues we'll have to close our doors.
    Anyone from clover can help ? This is urgent.

  7. Clover go needs to be able to input customer info: name, email, phone number, etc. This is super important for marketing and follow-up, and I can't believe you left this important function out.

  8. The current system offers a reward when a customer becomes a regular and a VIP, and then, for the rest of their customer life...nothing. We should be able to make the tiers annual so that customers have an incentive to make 12 or 25 visits (or whatever it is changed to) every year, not just once.

  9. The Announcement functionality should allow many more characters and the ability to include graphics. We should be able to communicate to our customers however we choose.

  10. There needs to be a report that shows all manual adjustments made to Rewards points by employees. Currently if an employee manually adjusts a customer's Rewards points, there is no report or logs for the owner to see which employee adjusted those points or how much the points were adjusted by.

  11. Would like customizable employee permissions to be added for the Rewards app in order to allow or restrict different employees roles to perform different functions in the Rewards app. For example, a permission should be added to restrict or allow the ability to manually adjust rewards points. Currently this feature is available to any employee who has access to the dashboard with no way to restrict employees from manually adjusting points.

  12. The idea I had for this came up when I was updating inventory templates for different merchants/Vendors. Instead of having to manually update new customers, there could be a customer template in the same fashion that inventory exports are. This would allow management to upload multiple customers at once without the need for a transaction. I think this would be especially useful for companies that deal with large volumes of customers like school districts and other agencies.

  14.         Please add under the loyalty rewards: Give % off when they come in X amt of times. Not just in the Bonus section. Right now you can only give a % off with X amount of points. I want to give them a reward based on times in only no points

  15. Clover offers gift card solutions to local companies. The customers who buy them are unable to use the gift cards with the Clover app as a form of payment. This seems counter-intuitive and the clunkiness may stop many customers from continuing to purchase gift cards.

  17. Can you please add the ability when exporting customer contact list from the dashboard to see the # of transactions a customer has done. Since merchants are not able to export any information from a customer once within that customer profile, merchants are requesting on the excel sheet a column that provides the number of transactions that customer has done. We have some merchants that want to start their own loyalty program but not enough information provided when exporting the info to excel.

  19. there needs to be a way to turn off the automatic retrieval of customer names from credit cards. All it does is add useless information to the customer list and make using that feature impossible.

  20. Admin / account holders should have the option to disable saving any customer information. Regardless if the payment is made Virtual Terminal, or via contactless payment. Not having / not saving any of this data could / would be preferable form a PCI compliance and security standpoint.
