Gift Card - Ability to add a gift card to a check
Today you have to run two transactions to add a gift card to a check.

Remember and associate customer email with credit card number across network in order to send receipt
This is exactly what Square does, and it works wonderfully and seamlessly. When a customer pays at a Square terminal with a credit card and inputs their email address for a receipt, the card number and email are automatically associated and saved across the network. From then on, any Square terminal will automatically email a receipt to the same address when that card number is processed.
Presumably some customers will not want this option, even if the address isn’t used for marketing purposes, so there should be a way to opt out.

Retain customer email address
As a customer it is annoying to have to enter my email address with every transaction. Square is able to retain a customer's email address (presumably tied to credit card).

Issue Gift cards by swiping on a Clover Station when a Clover Mini is attached
Not really an idea as much as it is a fix (In my opinion anyway). We have 4 Clover Stations with a clover mini attached to each Station on the opposite side of the counter / sneeze guard.
We can not "ISSUE" a gift card by swiping it on the station.
We can swipe it on the Mini but that requires our cashiers to walk around the counter to use the Mini. We can manually Type the Gift Card in to issue it from the Station but we can not Swipe it. We were told that once you tether a…2 votes -
not duplicate the phone number
I suggest that when a merchant is entering a phone number, to prevent duplicating the phone number in the system, or when entering a new customer with an existing phone number can be prevent it by the system as already exist.

I process for a growing franchise called Outer Banks Boil Company. The annual growth is absolutely exponential. make the customer name viewable on the "orders" tab on the clover flex
We understand that their name does appear in the notes section of the order tab but often times, we need to use that area for notes and not the customer name.

No Gift Card Email? Add double email verification for online gift card purchases
We have had multiple customers complain of not receiving an email after using the online clover gyft gift card purchasing wizard. I have a suspicion that they are incorrectly entering the email address to send the gift card to. Since the entire online gift card hinges on the fact that you have the correct email, then this should be a requirement for double verification. The current method of having to manually provide the receipt, gift card total, correct email etc to Clover manually to fix this is time consuming and leaving my customers frustrated.
