it would be helpful to be able to use a Barcode Scanner in the Customers app
Other systems allow customers to use a barcode for an employee to search their profile in the system. It would be very helpful if the barcode scanner, (built in or USB) would be able to be an authorized input device within the Customers App.

Allow generic Gift card to be numbered
When you sell a gift card there would be a pop up asking for the gift card number. When you redeem the gift card in settlement it would have a pop up asking for the gift card number. This way small business are able to track outstanding gift card.

Customer file sync issues
We are seeing duplicate customer in the customer file. I suspect that there is a sync issue between the customer file, rewards, & text/email receipts. We can manually add a customer on the back end, but when they sign up for rewards it creates a new customer record. On transactions where we have a validated customer, if we select to email/text them a receipt it prompts us to re-enter phone number/email address which creates yet another duplicated customer record. How do we keep our customer file 'uncluttered' with duplicates?

Customer's birthdays grouped by each individual month to send out a text each month with birthday coupon.
I would like to send my customers a birthday coupon for each month. So if there is a way to group just the birthdays for one month to send to only those customers that one month. Like January birthdays could be pulled up and send a mass text to just those customers with a Happy Birthday message and a coupon. Then month to month for the year. I do have my customers set up on the reward program so I do collect their birthday information each time they sign up. Thanks!!!

Customer's name show up on my side of the register once they put in their personal info for reward program.
I am a retail store. Once customer has put in their info (phone number) for the reward program I would like for their first name to pop up on my side of the register. That way I can thank them by name after transaction is finished.

User should be able to "sort" or "filter" customer list
When looking at the customer list on clover.com, I want to be able to sort alphabetically through my customers but there is no way to do this

Customers app notes should show up in Register when a tab opens with their name
When a card is run with the same name as someone in the Customers app with notes, the note should appear in a popup in the Register. That way, for example, we can write "Always gets 10% off" or "Use house tab" or "Do not serve" and it will show up to more easily communicate with our staff.

Variable reward point values
Allowing sellers to define the values of points would provide them with far more flexibility. For example, a bakery could award 3x points for specialty or custom items, 2x points for seasonal goods, and 1x points for everything else.

Only reward points for specific purchases/Exclude certain items from earning customer rewards
Currently rewards are all-inclusive. By allowing users to manage what items are eligible for rewards sellers can promote customers to purchase specific items and reward them for doing so. For example, a seller could make it so that their in-store brand is eligible for points to encourage sales over 3rd party brands.

AUTOMATICALLY POPULATE EMAIL ADDRESS FOR VIRTUAL TERMINAL WHEN ADDING EXISTING CUSTOMER.
Merchant is using the payments service plan and is able to download and use the customer app, create, edit and save customer profiles. But when he processes transactions through VT and assigns a customer to the invoice, the email doesn't automatically populate.

Ability to zero out rewards with a button
Merchant wants to have the ability to zero out their customers rewards point with a button, instead of manually adjusting the points. Also they want the capability to adjust all or multiple customers at once.

It's a huge financial liability to not be able to expire points on a regular basis. I need an "easy button" to reset points to Zero for all our customers.
I have been told by Clover Support to uninstall the app and reinstall it, but that did not work. All the customer data and points were in-tact.

STATION DUO: Please autofill customers phone number and/or email if on file for the text & email receipt option on the customer facing mini
Since the Station DUO (previously called the PRO) came out i haven't had a more frequently requested suggestion from my retail merchants. Typically if a customer has a phone number or email on file in the customers app the merchant has the ability to select email receipt or text receipt (on file) after the sale. This option is still here w/ the station duo however on the customer facing display the options for email receipt/text receipt will not autofill w/ the customers info on file. Rather if they desire to receive their receipt via text/email they have to manually enter…

Digital Gift Cards should be allowed for order online 24 hours/day
Currently digital gift cards cannot be ordered outside of normal online store operating hours, which does not make sense. Digital gift cards should be allowed 24 hours/day whether store is open or whether store is accepting online orders or not for regular physical items.

Larger window of time to send Promo notifications
Currently Promo notifications are only able to sent between 11am-7pm EST and any promos sent before or after that time will be delayed until the next time window. Would like to increase the window of time for Promo notifications to be sent. Example 7am-11pm.

Better vetting for final gift card designs or able to use third party designers and card makers.
Gift cards are so expensive through clover gift cards and when I submit them there should be a better system to help owners make sure their final design works. The cost is almost not worth offering to customers.
