For restaurants offering a combo meal, it would be ideal to set up different printers for modifiers within the item. For example, a combo comes with a sandwich and fries which would print to the kitchen or back printer, but the drink comes with the combo also and needs to print to the front service line printer. The customer selects their sandwich, fries and drink through the modifier choices, but the entire combo item will print to the selected printer. There is no way to send part of the order to one printer and part to another printer in two different sections of the restaurant. If there was a way to set up where a modifier would print to a different printer this would be ideal. Otherwise you have the entire receipt printing to both printers causing confusion in each area. This would also help with online ordering.
