Sub Modifiers
When programming a menu for a full service restaurant. We need Sub Modifiers!!
Lets say the Item is Spaghetti that comes with choice of soup or salad.
Right now the modifier has to read: Every kind of soup and every kind of salad option.
It would be nice if a modifier was able to be programed that said "soup" and then "salad".
Then SUB modifiers would come up. IF Salad was selected all the salad dressings would be listed in the sub modifier. If soup was selected all of the soup options would come up in the sub modifier.

Making Schedules for Items or Categories
I would like to have the ability to only show our Breakfast Category during our breakfast hours that are from 6am-12pm on our POS. Currently there is no way of doing it with setting a time. I can only do it manually and that is hard because I am not always here to do it. I would prefer something that would automatically do it once I make a schedule in the system. Multi-Level Menu Options
The menu will only go one level deep. For a full service restaurant with a full bar, they have to have too many tabs because the menu won't go more than one level. They have to have a menu option for each type of liquor in order to list the corresponding cocktails and liquors rather than selecting liquor, then the type, then the ******** ordered.

Easier way to reorganize modifiers on each item to create an easy flow when customer places order. Master list too complicated
Using The Reorganize Modifiers master list is complicated. When each inventory item is set up, we should be able to select the specific order of modifiers for each item for an easy flow, and thus less scrolling up and down, on the clover dining app. This is important when using the Clover Flex as there is too much wasted time scrolling up and down to find pertinent modifiers. Notification when there is communication issue with the kitchen printer
When the kitchen printer goes offline there needs to be a notification that stays on the screen that requires acknowledgment from the server before closing the screen out. Also, when this happens the system should automatically print the kitchen chit on the receipt printer so the server can bring this back to the kitchen staff and let them know there is a printer failure of some sort. Setting to be able to delay an order printing to kitchen for X amount of time
As a fast food takeout restaurant customers will call in the morning or the day before to give in their order to be ready later that day, to do that there should be an option to set a specific time when the kitchen should automatically print the order.

Clover Dining: Merging Tables - Combining Tables for Large Groups
FSR clients need the ability to combine or merge two tables together to accommodate large groups. They need to be able to combine to tables from their dining room layout to make one new table, rending the other unavailable. Example: merge two tables together and auto generate a table # combining the two (A1 + A2 = A1A2). This and the ability to remain in table once firing are required for FSR.

Online delivery option for businesses who already pay and provide delivery drivers.
Why don't you offer an online delivery option for businesses that already have a delivery provider that they pay? For example, pizza shops? We pay to have delivery drivers and we can't use to clover option for deliveries. Plus, the $6.99 fee that doordash or other 3rd parties charge seems VERY pricey. Customers in this town won't pay that when they can just call the restaurant themselves and only be charged $3 for delivery..
My customers love the clover app because they can accumulate points. I don't want to offer online ordering through another third party app because that's obnoxious.…

Clover Dining Repeat
Can we please get a repeat button in the clover dining app? I don't want to give every employee the ability to delete printed items so that they can repeat a drink order without having to search for the drinks again. We can have a table full of drinks that need to be repeated and it takes time to have to enter them one by one

Show Modifiers without showing their price on Payment Receipts
Currently Payment receipts have 3 different options for modifiers.
- Show All Modifiers
- Show Only Priced Modifiers
- Dont Show ModifiersIt would be nice if Clover offered a 4th option that a lot of other POS systems do. This option would be to "Show Modifiers without Price". Essentially this will show the modifiers on each item but the up charges for each item would just accumulate to the items subtotal instead of showing them listed individually.

Line-Item Time Stamp
Looking to have the time shown for when each line item on an order was added and fired back to the kitchen. This could be a report, viewable on the dashboard, or to print on the receipt. Currently you can see the time on the KP tickets when it prints.
Use example: A customer places an order with multiple items. They state it took 30 mins for the food to come out. How can the manager verify that or know if this was the server or the kitchen?

Print Status on Clover Dining Table Map
Add a print status icon to the Clover Dining "tables" and "bar and more" items showing the print status of the table/order. Perhaps a printer logo colored red when nothing has printed, yellow when some item have printed and green when all items on a ticket have printed.
Similarly add a kds icon perhaps displaying white for no activity, yellow for active orders, red for orders past the bump threshold and green when all items have been bumped.

Modifiers
Currently modifiers don't roll up into cost of goods sold. Example: Steak dinner.
Primary selection NY steak COGS $11.
Modifiers of potato, salad, salad dressing, the cost of goods sold for these three modifier groups don't roll up into overall cost for the steak meal.
Result in higher gross margin which is inaccurate.

Multiple closeout reports per day
Multiple shifts per day:
We have 2 services ( brunch and dinner) per day with 2 different teams, therefore we need a closeout report ( sales and tips) per shift - not per day
We also need different menus per shift.
