Welcome to the Clover Restaurant Forum.  You're here because you are a Clover Restaurant merchant and would like to submit ideas that you feel would enhance/improve Clover's current offerings in the Restaurant space. 

In order to submit your idea you'll need to give it a Title then select the Category that best matches your idea.  Below are brief descriptions of the Clover Restaurant Categories.



Here are quick descriptions of each category so that you can easily locate and post ideas in the correct place!


Clover Dining: Ideas related to table management and the Clover Dining experience.

Employees: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers employee management software. This includes permissions, viewing and editing employee roles, employee satisfaction, scheduling, owner access and more. If you have tipping suggestions, please include these ideas in the Tipping category of the Taking Payments forum.

Engagement: Share your thoughts on Clover’s built-in software that allows businesses to manage customers including viewing/storing customer information.

Hardware: Ideas related to Clover hardware in the Restaurant space

Inventory: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clover’s inventory management software.

Kitchen Management: Ideas related to KDS, Kitchen Printers, etc. 

Menu: Share your thoughts on all functions that specifically have to do with Clover Dining such as Clover’s built-in menu creation feature.

  2. There should be a way or a program that let's you control your POS from a distance. I should not have to physically go into my restaurant to fix some minor issue with my POS that requires a Manager's passcode.

    Please Develop a program that let's me access my POS from a computer outside of my location or wifi connection. If I can connect to CloverGo from my phone, I should be able to connect my laptop to my Pos Solo or Flex.

  3. Please Improve haptics vibrations on Flex 4. It is totally different feeling from previous Flex such as gen 2 or gen 3. With Flex 4, you wont feel whether the item has been touched so ending up touching it multiple times.

  4. I have a Bepper system that works in my Food Court. The Kiosk must have an option where the customer has the option of taking a number and that it also appears printed on the ticket as an identifier of the order if the customer decides not to give their phone number for privacy reasons in order to locate them within the Food Court (8 restaurants and 30 tables).

  6. Clover Mini Print Heads should be replaceable. The rest of the machine works fine. It seems crazy to throw out a perfectly good machine when the print head should be able to be replaced. Plus I have a real problem with purchasing a new one to the tune of $700 when it won't even last a few years in a very small shop.

  7. Payment receipts are so long compared to other pos systems. The spacing and font can be changed to help with this so we aren’t killing trees.

  8. I just upgraded to Duo from our previous 2018 units. The customer facing screen of the Duo displays a receipt prompt at the end of every transaction, and I want to disable it.

  9. we should be able to eliminate the all item option on the Kiosk because it is a big mistake to have it as a first category on the top of the menu categories on the Kiosk, it is causing a lots of confusing for the customers because it is taking their attention away from the other categories and making them keep scrolling down on the screen especially that the items in the menu is organized alphabetically which causing the items to be spreed out randomly so on flavor of the coffee will be next of the sandwich depending on the…

  10. The request was to be able to see more than 10 line items for categories on their Station Duo screen. They would like to be able to see all the categories on one screen and choose from them.

  11. Hi, I just want to know if there are any plans to offer a smaller customer-facing kiosk unit?

    The current one is nice, but too big/tall for stores with limited cash register space.

    Ideally, the kiosk would be big but not big enough that it takes up space needed to do a manual/cash transactions right in front of/above it. Essentially taking up the spot where Clover Minis are usually placed in a Clover Duo Station set up (i.e. a screen facing the customer with the POS right in front of it).

  12. Merchant would like the items, categories and modifiers to be listed as they appear in the inventory app on the KDS, not how they appear now, which is the order by which the server puts in the order. This current method causes modifiers to be out of order and items to be possibly listed in the wrong order as well.

  13. Wall mounted Solo options for servers would have allowed us to gain 2 major accounts. They ended up going with xxx because they felt if Clover couldn't accommodate something as simple as a wall mounted server station, then what else are they missing.

  14. Merchants need the ability to make changes to one device that does not impact other devices on the same MID.

    This impacts a lot, so I am sure there are dozens (maybe hundreds) of other clover update requests that are encompassed in this

    Examples:
    - Retail, Clover mini has local city tax rate, but the Clover go for Travel shows can have their own city tax rate
    - Restaurant, Clover station signs on receipt, but the Clover flex does sign on screen

    PRO - Merchant would have more precise and dynamic control of their systems

  15. Some clover kiosk user would like to be able to skip the self payment, and instruct customer to to payment counter. It will also be helpful if clover kiosk allow multiple payment tender, like "Cash" or "Pay at Counter"

  16. I have an issue with Clover duo 2nd when taking a payment from customer. Payment terminal keeps going back to tip select screen even though the customer already selects tip amount and pay with credit card. So, it makes double charge for same order most of time. This duo 2nd device is brand new, and network is super strong. How to resolve this problem? I was contacted to clover tech team, and they didn't give me the proper solution for this issue.
