Sub Modifiers
When programming a menu for a full service restaurant. We need Sub Modifiers!!
Lets say the Item is Spaghetti that comes with choice of soup or salad.
Right now the modifier has to read: Every kind of soup and every kind of salad option.
It would be nice if a modifier was able to be programed that said "soup" and then "salad".
Then SUB modifiers would come up. IF Salad was selected all the salad dressings would be listed in the sub modifier. If soup was selected all of the soup options would come up in the sub modifier.

Kitchen display guest
On the KDS when enabling group identical items it should separate the items by guest.
Not grouping the guest because it’s very confusing. And there’s no setting to disable guest from grouping together.
Sort Group items by each guest individually.

Service Charge to be part of TIP
enable Service Charge if used as auto gratuity for large parties to be part of TIP

Shift Reports
Most Restaurants and Bars have multiple Shifts throughout the day. Cashiers and bartenders begin their shift with a starting cash (bank) to provide change to their customers. In established restaurants cashiers/bartenders are responsible for all cash transactions, sometimes with and without manager approval. It is a Requirement for their Shift Reports to include starting bank, cash payments, cash payouts and deduction of credit card tips.
Currently Clover Shift Reports (Homebase) only tracks cash payments and credit card tips. That is unacceptable for most hospitality organizations.

SALES BREAKDOWN (FOOD AND LIQUOR)
There is currently no way to quickly determine the restaurants (or individuals) sales break down for Food and Liquor. This information (liquor sales) would be useful for servers at the end of each shift to determine the amount they must tip out the bartenders. Additionally, this information would be extremely beneficial for the restaurant to determine sales of periods (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly). There has to be a better way to do this, than continuing it on our fingers or with scrap paper. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Guest count in Clover Dining - reporting
Clover dining adds no additional reporting to clover. Restaurants need to know:
1. how many guests they have served
2. Average turn times of tables
3. Average spend per guest/tableAll clovers main competitors provide this reporting. The information is there, so why not add a report for it?

Epson Printer Capabilities
Currently, the Epson printer connection with the Clover POS does not allow us to limit printing to only to-go orders or online/mobile orders. As a result, labels are being printed unnecessarily, which leads to wasted supplies.
We would love to explore adding this functionality to the integration, as it would help streamline operations and eliminate the need for additional labels going to waste.
Please let us know if this is something that can be supported now or considered for future enhancements.

Color coding menu options
Currently, the colors are assigned automatically and aren't helpful. For example, a Hot drink option button would be HOT and we would choose blue buttons for Cold drinks.
Also, we NEED two order tickets automatically printed. we have to waste too much time pressing more options and pressing print order.

Order Type Highlights
During Extremely busy periods, line cooks and expediterts have a tendency to not pay attention to order type. Sometimes "To-Go" orders get plated and have to be replated in to-go containers.
If order types could be color coded on the KDS displays, it would help distinguish between order types and minimize plating errors.

Renaming Guest 1, Guest 2, Guest 3...etc.
We need to be able to "rename' in the Clover Dining App tables/tickets that have multiple guests. This will help us:
1) Make a personal connection
2) Identify which guest ordered what

Allow Kitchen Printing on the Essentials Service Plan
With the recent discontinuation of the Counter-Service Restaurant service plan, some smaller venues still need to print to a remote order printer, but do not have need for online ordering or the full features of Clover Dining as included in the Restaurant Growth plan.

Happy Hour Fix
Recently the Happy Hour app disabled the feature that prevents the happy hour discount from being continued past normal happy hour times. For instance if someone orders a beer that is discounted a dollar before happy hour is over and the server then reorders the item using the "+" it continues the discount...the server now has to re-ring in the item in order for the item to be at its proper price.
Happy Hour also does not let you disable it on a specific device. For instance if we have a party going on that should not receive the discount…

Restore Item Report options
The Item Sales report used to have functionality to print CATEGOERIES or CATEGORIES WITH ITEMS. This functionality was available when the user clicked the PRINT link and presented with a dialog box and several options including the Categories or with or without Items.
This option was removed this week from the Report and we would like it restored. Our ownership was accustomed to this report and the workarounds are just a lot of extra work. Kiosk needs to be able to find the printer attached to the Station Duo.
Requiring an extra kitchen receipt printer in order to print kiosk orders at the counter can be a deal breaker for fast service, compact shops like specialty coffee shops. Currently, the kiosk cannot print to the receipt printer attached to the Station Duo. In order to print remotely (the only order printing that makes sense for a kiosk), one must purchase a separate kitchen printer and set that up to receive orders.

Pre-Auth to keep a tab running via QR code ordering
There is interest to create a completely contactless ordering & payment experience by being able to open a running tab with payment pre-authorization via QR Code. The customer seats themself, scans the QR code on the table to view the menu, adds the items they would like for their first round to their order, they insert their payment information to start their tab and send their first round to the bar/kitchen, the tab stays open so the customer can keep ordering without completing the transaction, once they are ready to leave they close their tab/tip from their personal device and…

Need to have "CLOVER" ONLINE DELIVERY with DAYPARTS ABILITY for Breakfast vs Lunch Menu's etc...
Clover ONLINE needs to work WITHOUT Doordash AND ONLINE Menu needs ability to AUTO stop allowing Customers to order Breakfast items after a particular time ...

Online Orders not syncing with POS inventory counts
Currently our online store does not sync with our POS when there are low counts on items. It recognizes 86 or sold out items automatically but NOT counts. This is detrimental as we have orders coming through in real time both in store and Online. Meaning we often oversell items on line that are sold out- IE - We have 2 turkey sandwiches left but someone can order as many as they want online. Please fix this!
