Clover Dining: Merging Tables - Combining Tables for Large Groups
FSR clients need the ability to combine or merge two tables together to accommodate large groups. They need to be able to combine to tables from their dining room layout to make one new table, rending the other unavailable. Example: merge two tables together and auto generate a table # combining the two (A1 + A2 = A1A2). This and the ability to remain in table once firing are required for FSR.

Show Modifiers without showing their price on Payment Receipts
Currently Payment receipts have 3 different options for modifiers.
- Show All Modifiers
- Show Only Priced Modifiers
- Dont Show ModifiersIt would be nice if Clover offered a 4th option that a lot of other POS systems do. This option would be to "Show Modifiers without Price". Essentially this will show the modifiers on each item but the up charges for each item would just accumulate to the items subtotal instead of showing them listed individually.
For example. If I had a burger that cost $8.99 and I added an "Extra Patty" modifier for $1.50. Currently Clover's receipts…

Print Status on Clover Dining Table Map
Add a print status icon to the Clover Dining "tables" and "bar and more" items showing the print status of the table/order. Perhaps a printer logo colored red when nothing has printed, yellow when some item have printed and green when all items on a ticket have printed.
Similarly add a kds icon perhaps displaying white for no activity, yellow for active orders, red for orders past the bump threshold and green when all items have been bumped.
These enhancements would allow managers to quickly identify what tables/orders have fired to the kitchen and there completion progress. Takes too much…

Different Menus for Clover Dining Table QR Codes
We want the ability to have the (Clover Dining) Table QR Codes to point to different menus. The use case is that when people are dining in we want to allow them to order pastries like croissants. However, if they order online via direct link to the clover menu, or 3rd party, they should not be able to order pastries. Another example would be alcohol, can't have people ordering that online, because they must be in-person to check ID.
Perhaps there could be a separate Menu Channel for each table in Clover Dining. Or at least a separate Menu Channel…

Different Service Charge Auto Gratuity per Section in Clover Dining
Ability to add different service charge percentage or fixed fee for different sections of clover dining table mapping. Example Dine-In section 15% to go order 5% banquet hall section 10% but all sections are working tables that are simultaneously be used live in a site.

Allow for Special Instructions on COLO2 to be optional
Allow for Special Instructions on Online Ordering to be optional. Customers are taking advantage of asking for additional items on food, and employees are having a hard time figuring out if items that customers are listing under special instructions have been paid for or are needing payment collected. I tried to turn this Special Instructions off myself and there is no option to do so. I also called in to Clover to ask Tech Support to turn it off for me, they said this option is not optional to have removed.

Make an item to go at a sit down table
All too often servers who are waiting on a table are asked to put an order in to go for them to take with them. There needs to be a way to make an item TO GO on a table order.

New Clover Kiosk Needs to have a DONE or No receipt button for the kiosk to not force to have to print a payment receipt every single transaction as most customers dont want paper payment receipts. except maybe an order receipt.
please add this option just like every other clover device has this option to skip the payment receipt so that paper receipts are not piled up all on the floor or around the kiosk because of customers not wanting it.10 votes -

Change quantities of a modifier for online ordering
For example, customers need to be able to specify how many pumps of a syrup to add to a latte. This is a function on the POS, and it needs to be added to online ordering.

Allow merchants to change default reporting type in the reporting app on the device
Currently the default option is set to condensed reporting, merchant would like an option to have it default to a full report which is not available at the moment.

Menu Hours for Online Ordering
We need to be able to add Breakfast Menu Times to our Cafe hours. Hope House Cafe.
We use online ordering and Doordash options, but are not able to enter hours and have this option available for online ordering.We are currently having to manually enter and remove them daily for Breakfast Menu ITems.

Transfer Server on Closed Order
We really need a way to be able to transfer/change the server name on closed orders. This way if a mistake is made and the order is transferred to a manager's name or someone who just helps close out the tab, the business can adjust this when they notice the error and transfer it back to the correct server and have all tip reports adjusted so that this displays correctly.

Transaction report by hour.
I would like to see a way to download a report from the Dashboard of transactions by hour. I use the CloverGo app a lot, but shows total revenue (per location). There is a way to see the number of transactions, but you have to tap 3 times to find that. A separate chart on the Go app or Dashboard would help. I prefer to see (for staffing) the number of tickets/transactions per hour. This report would be able to print daily/monthly to show sales by hour and if I need to adjust staffing. I appreciate that Clover is always trying to improve. I think it would be a great idea if you had a focus group comprised of business owners and sales reps that you present to before making changes. For instance, yesterday you updated the reporting feature and eliminated the total number of transactions. Now the merchant must add the total of credit card, debit card and cash transactions to get the total transactions for the day. Yes, it is available on the web dashboard, but when managers or shift leaders are closing, they do not have access to this information. This…

Pick up time on receipts for Online Orders
Printing the pick up or preparation time or including it in the email notification for the online orders would be extremely helpful. The preparation time shows on the order confirmation pop up when a customer completes the order, but it is not included in the emailed confirmation and receipt.

Open Orders
As part of our catering operations, we need the ability to view OPEN Orders that were entered at least 12 months in the past. We’ve been using the Clover system for four years, and until September 2024, we could access all open orders regardless of their age. However, we are now limited to viewing open orders that are 30 days old or less.
