Welcome to the Clover Restaurant Forum.  You're here because you are a Clover Restaurant merchant and would like to submit ideas that you feel would enhance/improve Clover's current offerings in the Restaurant space. 

In order to submit your idea you'll need to give it a Title then select the Category that best matches your idea.  Below are brief descriptions of the Clover Restaurant Categories.

Clover Dining: Ideas related to table management and the Clover Dining experience.

Employees: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers employee management software. This includes permissions, viewing and editing employee roles, employee satisfaction, scheduling, owner access and more. If you have tipping suggestions, please include these ideas in the Tipping category of the Taking Payments forum.

Engagement: Share your thoughts on Clover’s built-in software that allows businesses to manage customers including viewing/storing customer information.
Clover GO: Clover GO is a mobile POS system designed for businesses that need to accept payments on the go.

Hardware: Ideas related to Clover hardware in the Restaurant space

Inventory: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clover’s inventory management software.

Invoice: Ideas related to Clover’s Invoicing feature.

  1. INVENTORY NEEDS TO UPDATE THE SECOND A SERVER ORDERS AN ITEM. SO THAT THE SECOND SERVER BEHIND HIM IMMEDIATELY KNOWS THE REMAINING BALANCE OF THE INVENTORY. INSTEAD OF WAITING FOR THE BILL TO BE PAID FOR FOR INVENTORY TO UPDATE IN THE SYSTEM.

    RIGHT NOW INVENTORY UPDATES ONLY AFTER THE CUSTOMER PAYS FOR THEIR BILL.

  4. Payment receipts are so long compared to other pos systems. The spacing and font can be changed to help with this so we aren’t killing trees.

  6. The request was to be able to see more than 10 line items for categories on their Station Duo screen. They would like to be able to see all the categories on one screen and choose from them.

  7. For Online Orders- I want to be able to apply "Happy Hour" deals so that I can do a 2 for 1 discount specifically on a category or item. Please allow Happy Hour to reflect in the Online Ordering ( Clover App ) or for third party apps to contribute to quantity discounts/specials.

  8. We need to keep up with because they can track item stock quantity on a granule level through their modifiers and every item that goes into the entirety of the recipe.

  9. Need a "Server/Food Runner Mode" on multi KDS situation with functionality that ensures orders don't disappear from the server screen when the Kitchen marks an item as ready. Currently, "Expo Mode" doesn't support this feature.

    In this Server Mode, an indicator (e.g., a dot) could appear next to each item to show it has been marked as ready by the Kitchen. When the server touches the item on their screen, it would then be marked as completed on the Server Mode Screen. This would be an ideal solution. Thank you.

  10. Please Improve haptics vibrations on Flex 4. It is totally different feeling from previous Flex such as gen 2 or gen 3. With Flex 4, you wont feel whether the item has been touched so ending up touching it multiple times.

  11. PLEASE put time clock back on the website dash board under Employees menu!!! It is cumbersome to find and get to. We don’t process payroll from the station at the restaurant we process it from the office. This was an inefficient change since you have to go through so many clicks and wait for so many pages to load just to click through to the time clock app you are using. Especially if you are in a remote area with poor internet service. Thank you!

Online Menu on Google Suppose to be on the top of the online ordering list and it suppose to be named with the restaurant name, because our online list start with Grubhub and seamless and doordash then Order Clover so Order Clover has to be the first then it is better to call it with the restaurant name because a lots of customer does not know what Order clover means and they think it is another ordering company instead of knowing that is our direct online ordering especially that it has our original prices comparing to other online ordering companies…

  14. The merchant would like to withhold tips of 3-4% in the employee sales report . By law tips are 100% transferred to the employee, however now the merchant is paying full credit card processing fee's on tips on monies they do not keep, making this non-compliant, there can be a feature on the dashboard back office, to turn on "Tips witheld" only % displayed that will reduce their cc tips.   16. Issue: Missing Uber Eats Item Notes in Clover

    Problem:
    Customer item notes from Uber Eats do not appear in Clover, causing inefficiencies and forcing merchants to disable notes.

  18. My merchant sells food the pound and is using clover with a weight scale, he would like to be able to enter manually the pounds in the clover when he is selling future orders for holidays etc... without actually weighting the product at the time of placing he order. The clover doesn't let him enter the quantity in pounds typed only coming from the weight scale... is this something Clover can do using the weight scale or there is a solution to this issue? Thank you

    You want to create:
    Combo A (Hamburger, Small Fries and Coke) for $2 (Not combo is $2.25 total)(This is specifically set the items for the Combo)
    Combo B (Cheeseburger, Large Fries and Coke) for $3 (Not combo is $3.50 total)(This is specifically set the items for the Combo)

  20. Online Ordering Frequency would allow you to edit/limit the frequency by which customers can place online orders through your Online Ordering platform. Essentially you as the merchant are able to set the number of orders that can be placed within a specific timeframe, like in 10 Mins, 30 mins, an hour, etc

    A lot of my smaller Clover Restaurants have limited capacity to how many orders they can make at a time so during their busiest hours its extremely helpful to have a feature that allows the merchant to mitigate receiving a high number of simultaneous orders by limiting how…
