Quantity Update
There was an update to the system last week that removed the ability to hold down on an item to change the quantity. We utilized that option all the time. Now, if you hold down you can change the item availability.
It would be nice to have the quantity back. Or, at least put a quantity bar at the top of the screen on the handhelds.6 votes -
Option to print transaction list with closeout report
It would be great if there were an option to print the list of transactions included in the closeout batch report. I am aware it can be viewed online or on the device but a printing option would be more convenient for me. That was one of the questions I asked the sales person before switching over, only to find that the option is not even an option.

ASSIGNING ITEMS TO RESPECTIVE GUESTS USING REGISTER APP
Scenario for counter service restaurant: You have multiple guests ordering under one ticket at the counter but when using the register app, order items are unable to be assigned by the respective guests, this causes confusion at the kitchen because order ticket appears to be telling the kitchen staff that there’s one guest placing these multiple orders. Default Modifier
The Modifiers in COLO automatically set to a specific modifier when the minimum and maximum are both 1. It would be better for the option to have a checkbox that doesn't allow the order to be added to the cart ( like what happens when there are 1min 2 max) than the circle that automatically defaults . This can cause issues especially for merchants who have Vegan/Vegetarian establishments ( the modifier defaulting to a vegetarian item on a vegan order that can easily be overlooked).

Report
I need a detailed report showing when an item is moved from one table to another, who authorized the move, who performed it, and at what time. At my restaurant, we’re experiencing issues because we don’t know who is moving items, when it’s happening, or who approved the changes. This report is critical for us, and it would be extremely helpful to have it available as soon as possible.

Open Orders
As part of our catering operations, we need the ability to view OPEN Orders that were entered at least 12 months in the past. We’ve been using the Clover system for four years, and until September 2024, we could access all open orders regardless of their age. However, we are now limited to viewing open orders that are 30 days old or less.

Tip Management
When printing out employee sales report from the POS system, there’s confusion as to what the additional charges entail. Merchants that are on surcharge program face reconciliation discrepancies when it comes to separating additional charges collected by servers. Additional charges both include gratuity / service fee charge, and surcharge fees.
For faster and more efficient reporting reconciliation, is there a way that the POS reporting printout receipt can separate surcharge fees from gratuity fees or any other additional charges? As opposed to just lumping both of these fee types under additional charges.

View Open Orders on Dashboard
When in the restaurant, it's easy to see all open orders. On the dashboard, there is no way to filter on open orders, forcing me to scroll through hundreds of orders to find those that haven't yet been paid.

Different Service Charges by Order Type
Restaurant software offers the options to add service charge, restaurant owners want service charge by order type, if the order type in MAIN has a different percentage than another order type, they want the ability to to charge different % amount by order type take out vs main dining

DoorDash needs both pickup and delivery fulfilment options
Currently, doordash integration on the Clover Online Ordering only offers the pickup option and merchant needs the ability to have both pickup and delivery fulfilment options.

Condensed sales report needs to include totals
The new condensed sales report on device provides the Sales by Tender Type, but we must add the figures together to determine card totals. It'd be helpful to have the "Total" section from the Full Report on the Condensed Report.

Print head on Clover Mini does not last-receipts become illegible & the only solution is to replace the entire device? So wrong!gre
Clover Mini Print Heads should be replaceable. The rest of the machine works fine. It seems crazy to throw out a perfectly good machine when the print head should be able to be replaced. Plus I have a real problem with purchasing a new one to the tune of $700 when it won't even last a few years in a very small shop.
5 votesPeriodic cleaning of the print head should allow the printer to last the life of the machine. Print heads have been tested to >30 miles of printed paper with typical receipt content.

Restore Alphanumeric Characters to Flex 4
Merchant upgraded from the Flex 3 to Flex 4 and the employee lock screen no longer has the alphanumeric characters, only numbers. The only alphanumeric setting is for the customer-pin pad entry; however, they want it back for the employee lock screen.

Allow Promo Codes (Discount Codes) on Clover Online Ordering
All the major POS/Online Ordering platforms have the ability to handle promo codes or coupon codes for online ordering. It is a highly requested feature. Clover should integrate the discounts app with online orders.

Stock Count for Per Unit Items
For items that are measured per unit (such as deli meat that is pounds or ounces), there should be a way to track stock according to this unit. At least for basic units like pounds and ounces that delis, cafes, etc often use. So if merchant has 5 lbs of turkey and they sell 1.5 lbs, then stock count would be 3.5 lbs of turkey.

Option to Filter Sales Overview by Employee on Stations
Being able to filter by employee when running the sales overview from a station would be very helpful in environments when you cannot always turn off "view all sales activity" for servers and/or bartenders & do lots of paid outs or paid ins.
Since the Homebase and Shifts reports do not account for Paid Outs and Paid Ins, it would be nice to be able to use the Sales Overview with more flexibility from the ground level. Revenue Class needs to be able to be imported for items and category needs to be a filter option
Revenue Class is not currently exportable and there is no way to easily locate items when there are potentially thousands in a given Revenue Class in order to modify them. Also, it would be nice to be able to filter item list by Category

Turn off cash payment on Handheld devices
Syncing is a great idea, do you have any ideas on how to disable cash payments on handheld devices? If a customer pays in cash without change, and they leave the cash on the table, and the waitress just taps cash and keeps the money.

Ability to Filter Tips by Date
We have a few locations that would love to be able to filter the Tips app by date.
We have a bar that checks all tips entered the prior night for accuracy before they manually settle the batch. This helps prevent calls from customers due to tip entry errors. They would love to only see the tips from a specific date or yesterday.
