An error occurred while saving the comment Patrick commentedYes, it's very unprofessional to hand then the device to do the tip, then hand it back to us to run the card. Then back to them for the signature. I mean paper reciepts work that way. And it is nice to give them the room vs same screen as receipt.
At least you get that option. Here, we have to hand them the device. Let them pick their tip. Then hand it back to us to run then card, then back to them to sign. Do it like a paper receipt..... run the card, then let them add a tip and sign. A separate screen, i'm indifferent about.... Haven't used enough to decide. The screen is bigger so same screen might be OK vs square which was too tight.
But the larger screen gives room for a 4th tip option which is nice
