Refunds
Options are everything! If an employee cannot have permission to perform a refund, clover should allow a manager or admin to use their fingerprint or password to allow the refund to occur under the employees own reporting. Current whomever does the refund — it goes under their reporting. We should have the permission to make it either way. All other good POS machine perform this way. Please add this feature. You have it already for discounts.

Clover Dining App Restrict permission on employees to remove Additional Charges from an active order
In clover dining app there are no restrictions for employees to remove the automatic Additional Charges from an order. There should be a permission where Only admins are allowed to remove additional service charge or have manager/admin passcode approval to remove additional charges on dine-in sections only. There should be a permission approval.
Currently there is an Operational Loss when customer is paying cash, the employee gives the bill to the customer, and customer pays in cash, some servers/employees found a loophole to remove the auto gratuity service charge in the Clover Dining app since there are no restrictions in…

Employee Role
Employees need to be able to have more than one role assigned. Again for accounting purposes. Every Restaurant has employees that work multiple roles. That way when I print out an employees hours to pay them Im able to see the role they clocked in as.

Update Employee Name
I would like the ability to update an employee name without having to delete and re-setup. I have an employee who got married and I can't update her name. I have to delete her and set her back up from scratch.

Assign categories per employee code
Assign categories per employee code. This would allow categories and inventory items to be assigned and accessible based on their employee code. Currently all employees can see all categories and inventory items and run transactions from any category.

The AM Barmaid is closing out her customers getting them to pay their bill while the PM Barmaid is taking on all of the new customers who have just walked in. Nobody at this end of your system wants two sets of hands in the till because it opens us up for problems and lots of finger pointing when the numbers don't agree with the end of shift report. Tender Type Restriction
Custom tender type should have the option to be restricted for the employees and can be used by Admin or Manager only. Or whomsoever admin wants to provide access to. This is very important for restaurants.

Being Able to Inactivate/Activate Employees that work for us seasonally
We have employees that are seasonal. (they are in college during the fall and spring) but work for us in the summer and on breaks.
We would like the ability to make the employee inactive so that they are not listed when we are trying to do things like

No codes
I need the option to disable the use of passcodes. At my restaurant, we operate using employee cards, which are currently only used by managers. However, I need to remove the requirement for managers to use passcodes. Additionally, we need the new Clover devices to be enabled to accept employee cards as well.

Give admin access to devices and printer. Why was it removed? If there are 3 owners to a business, you expect them to share 1 main account with 2-factor logins? Not sure why Clover keeps messing things up.

Color Code for Servers and Bar Tabs
Merchants I've spoken with mentioned that color-coding employees and extending this system to open bar tabs would simplify locating a server's tab, particularly during peak hours.

Improve Shifts App calendar for time edits on Web Dashboard
Time punches can be edited from the web dashboard but the calendar picker does not allow the user to pick the previous day and only allows who hours to be selected. This is not useful to correct time when an employee forgot to clock out the previous day and/or the time is something other than the whole hour.
Users can click into the field an manually adjust the date and time, but the date picker should either be eliminated or functionality improved.

Fix Server Refunds
Full service restaurants have the following critical issue:
Server A accidentally closes out an order to the incorrect payment method, Manager A then refunds/voids the payment, then Server A adds the correct payment method.
In reports, it shows that Server A has taken 2 payments and that Manager A has performed 1 refund. This corrupts both the server and manager's sales reports and tip payouts.
Solution:

Homebase Shift Report
Need to have access to the setting for the Homebase Shift Report. Kitchen employees don't need to see PAYMENTS, REFUNDS, TIPS, SERVICE CHARGE on the printed shift report only what their shift time was when printing report.
