Uncategorized items
We are in need of a way to filter through our item list for 'uncategorized' items. Our store has a rather large inventory, and we have plenty of items that are floating in the abyss of our item list. It is time consuming to search every individual item in order to locate and sort them, and while exporting our item list to Excel is useful, it does not solve our problem in an efficient manner for we still have to scroll through the entire inventory list regardless of platform used.

Bulk Edit Cost, Price
Hi! It would drastically speed up inventory adjustment to be able to bulk edit price and cost of multiple items. We want to be able to select multiple items directly from the "home" item page and enter a new price and/or cost that applies to all items selected.
We have an inventory of over 12,000 items, most of which are art mediums with around 150 color variations each. These variations are listed as items in our Clover inventory, and with the recent and frequent price increases, selecting as many as we can on one page and updating the price one…

Bulk Delete
Please make an option to Bulk Edit > Delete from within a category and subcategories. Currently we have to delete each individual item from within the item profile. Extremely time consuming. Bulk deleting items from within a category only deletes them from the category, leaving them uncategorized and lost in the abyss of a large inventory. We need to be able to delete items within a category from the entire inventory, not just from a category/subcategory.

Inventory "Manual" reduction vs. "Automatic" reduction
Inventory "Manual" reduction vs. "Automatic" reduction.
When setting Inventory to automatically track reduction when items are sold, the "Manage Availability" option is defaulted to "Manual" instead of "Automatic."
Which means that each time a new item is added, the merchant must remember to edit and change to "Automatic." It makes no sense. It should be defaulted to "Automatic" since the Inventory setting on top left show that stock levels will reduce automatically. Can this be corrected. Alternate field now missing.
I am not a restaurant but I have been using the "alternate name" field for over 7. years and not on the restaurant plan. Suddenly that "alternate name" field is missing. I have a lot of key information in that field. I use it for part numbers and other descriptors for over seven years now. Removing that field from an existing plan without checking how it may impact customers, was short sided. Please bring it back to the other plans. I can still search for info in that field but cannot edit. What happened? Please had that field back.

When we apply a 100% discount to an item, it does not auto-decrement from inventory. Please make it so comp'd items decrement from inventory.

Inventory Item List - Allow and save custom Columns List
For my retail business, the default list of columns isn't useful and since the system times out every 15 minutes, we must frequently reset the column list or drill into the detailed item update (which is VERY inefficient). Since this app is targeted to retail, it is surprising Product code (UPC) and SKU weren't part of the default column list design. (feels like a hold over from the Clover restaurant focus)

Bulk edit
In the Item section, you can’t change the cost in Bulk Edit or Edit; you have to open the actual item to update the cost, which is time-consuming. It would be great to have the option to change the category and modifier directly in Edit as well, instead of having to use Bulk Edit.

Need to have a bulk edit to set the track stock option to Automatic
Currently, there is no way to bulk edit the items to automatically Track Stock. This is also not reflected on the Inventory load spreadsheet, so the only way to set items to be tracked automatically is to open each and every item and set this option - this is unwieldy for retail establishments with over 10,000 items. Currently, Quantity can be set via the loading spreadsheet but not the ability to automically track stock.

Item Inventory Items - need tools for data cleanup.
Because many fields are not required when the data is entered, my convenience store staff have entered hundreds of items through the years with no category, no revenue code, no cost. Just a name, price and barcode. It is beyond painful to give hours of my life to export item sales... dig through it to find those records that are wrong. Then fix them.

Allow admin to set inventory fields as mandatory
When adding inventory - allow the admin to require some fields to be populated.
I.e. - cost, category, revenue code. Basically any field should be required or NOT at the merchant's choice.
This would force the user to enter data according to the requirements of the merchant and reduce or eliminate painful clean up tasks.

Current Inventory Report
Please, please, please fix your inventory export report to be useful to retail businesses. At this time, you only have the ability to export ALL items and the report comes out with latest items added. Plus, the headers are not even accurate and you can't quickly re-sort it because you have taken the Revenue/Category off every item and grouped them by variant. Stop the de-alphabetization of items in a Category when deleted on the POS.
Made the mistake of deleting items I no longer have in my inventory from a Category on the POS. This Category has almost 1,000 items. Since everything needs to be manually entered and alphabetized, I wanted to make it easier when adding new items to this category by deleting items I no longer have in inventory. Upon doing so, all the items within this category de-alphabetized!! This is 4 YEARS of inventory no longer in alphabetical order. Alternate Name Field
It would be very helpful to have the ability to add/edit the "alternate name" field within the dashboard or inventory app. This currently lives in the import template file only and we use this to print our product labels.

Ability to import invoices / inventory
While inventory can be imported, the functionality is limited to a spreadsheet.
What would be really cool is the ability to import invoices / inventory via a photo or an upload of an invoice and have it import.
Something along the lines of an AI Invoice / Inventory builder. A concept similar to the AI Menu builder in the restaurant vertical.

Put back cost line item in inventory
In the inventory tab under price and next to Qty there was a Cost line please add this back. This is very important to have so we know quickly when updating inventory if we need to adjust the price of the item or when giving a discount, we will be able to quickly identify our margin. I do not understand why this would have been removed.

Screen too big when adding items to inventory.
Data entry should be fast and easy - keyboard only. Tab, enter data, and tab again until finished. NO SCROLLING! User should NEVER have to scroll 37 miles down the page to read what could easily fit on one page.
Change the control property on each section to "can grow/shrink" instead of being hard formatted a particular size.

Inventory Reports
Clover, please listen to us and not just mark not at this time. The retail inventory management view and reporting is horrible. Retail businesses run themselves on what is in the store and remaining not just what has been sold. The fact that you have that information for item sales so easy to view and export it should be the same for the in stock inventory.
