1. processing fees

   we need to be able to check in real time what the credit card fee is that we are being charged for each transaction. because your invoice system directs the payments to the bank without pausing for authorization we are now incurring fees on every invoice instantly on payment. BUT if the customer changes their mind in a few minutes or the next week we are unable to know what fees to charge them for making the return that quickly. 30 days is far too long to wait and not know what to charge the customer that is returning the item. We do not want to make them pay the 3% fee upfront because we value their business and that would be a gift with purchase (as has always been USA tradition till recently) HOWEVER we don't want to eat that or gift it to a transaction that is not a profitable sale.
