Welcome to the Clover Services Forum. You're here because you are a Clover Services merchant and would like to submit ideas that you feel would enhance/improve Clover's current offerings in the Services space.

Appointments: Ideas related to Clover’s Appointment software.

Employees: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers employee management software. This includes permissions, viewing and editing employee roles, employee satisfaction, scheduling, owner access and more. If you have tipping suggestions, please include these ideas in the Tipping category of the Taking Payments forum.

Engagement: Share your thoughts on Clover’s built-in software that allows businesses to manage customers including viewing/storing customer information.

Clover GO: Clover GO is a mobile POS system designed for businesses that need to accept payments on the go.

Hardware: Ideas related to Clover hardware in the Restaurant space

Inventory: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clover’s inventory management software.

Invoice: Ideas related to Clover’s Invoicing feature.
Multi-Location: Ideas related to the functionality of Clover's Multi-Location product.

Orders: Ideas relating to the process of creating and managing Orders.

  1. Appointments work better on a desktop. We need the ability to connect a Clover mini to the desktop to accept payments.

    Appointments app is lagging badly on Clover devices. We need the ability to run the appointment app on a desktop or laptop and connect a mini/flex/compact or go to accept payments only. Use the Clover dashboard for everything else.

  2. Customer Notes Accessible from Appointment Calendar

    It would be extremely helpful to allow stylists and staff to access a customer's notes directly from the appointment on the calendar without having to navigate to the customer profile.

    For salons and service-based businesses, customer notes often include critical information such as:

    Hair color formulas
    Previous services performed
    Haircut or styling preferences
    Processing times
    Product recommendations
    Special instructions or client preferences

    Having these notes readily available when opening an appointment or when the customer checks in would improve efficiency, reduce the number of clicks required during service, and provide a better experience for both staff and clients.

  3. Class style appointments

    I would love to see a class booking feature. For example, a scheduled 1 hour class that has a capacity for 10 customers to register for it. Bookable by time slot, employee, etc.

    I would love a product that can support a spin studio, yoga studio, or personal trainers.

  4. Allow temporary adjustments to days where business is normally closed

    I was just notified that the temporary adjustment feature to business hours on Services Growth ONLY applies to days where the business is normally open based on the posted hours. This is not made clear at all in the instructions and makes no sense. Business should be able to open for a special event on a day they are not normally open without having to modify their normal operating hours.
