Void an Incorrect Refund
We need a method to void an incorrect refund amount, ideally even if discovered after the customer has left. We have a case where store credit was given to the customer, but a partial credit card refund was also given. The partial credit card refund needs to be voided. No option to perform that was found.

refund
Debit Refunds should be able to return back to card not cash. Due to inability to refund back to card on debit transactions merchants have to resort to manual refunds and Clover Station Duo doesn't have ability to manual enter card info.

refund debit cards
Kevin, you say that FIserv will give approval to refund to a debit card, but I have searched site and called and no one knows what you are talking about. If you won't refund to a debit like every other retailer in the world...please add cash as an option. I don't want to do a manual transaction because it does not put the item back in to inventory. PLEASE RUSH THIS.

Partial Refunds for Cash Transactions
Please enable additional tender options for the Refund App. E.g. We need to provide partial refunds to cash transactions. The Orders/Transactions apps will only allow us to refund by item or in full. The Refund app enables partial refunds; however, only via card transactions.

Refund older transactions directly from the terminal
We believe merchants should have the ability to refund older transactions directly from the Clover terminal instead of needing to access the web dashboard. This would save time and make the process much more efficient, especially for staff working at the register. A helpful option would be to search for past transactions by date or by using the last 4 digits of the customer's card within the terminal's Transactions section. This feature would greatly improve the refund process, particularly for businesses with high customer turnover or delayed return policies.

Debit Card Refund Period
Allow us to refund to a debit card in the same time period as a credit card without having to enter the cardholder data manually. It is a major security flaw for us to have to call a customer back and ask them to read off their credit card information over an insecure phone line. Also, if the cardholder name wasn't entered at the time of sale, we don't know who to contact to issue the refund. So many problems with this way of issuing refunds to debit cards.

Sales Tax on Exchanges
When a customer is exchanging an item of the same price, there should be a way to disable Sales Tax so that it is not re-added to the order. The customer already paid the sales tax when the original purchase was made. If tax is added to the exchange then the customer is paying same sales tax TWICE.

Refund items from transactions & fees attached
On the Clover Dashboard, you are able to go to a transaction and refund a specific item from that receipt, but there is not option to refund the taxes/fees or not. On the device itself, however, I cannot select a specific item within a receipt to refund, but when I manually type in the amount to refund, I AM given the option to refund taxes/fees or not.
We should be able to do identical processes with this on the device AND the dashboard. We want to track the specific items refunded, but we cannot do that without paying the credit…

Cannot issue store credit on orders with a mix of payment methods (gift cards and credit cards)
Certain orders are not allowing store credit due to a mix of payment methods (gift cards and credit cards). This is a significant inconvenience for Retail merchants. The only workaround is manually issuing store credit through the gift card app, but that doesn't link back to the original order or update the stock quantity for items returned/exchanged.

Improve Refund Process
I had a customer purchase six items on Monday then return one of the items the next day. The system allowed me to select the item from the original order to return but when I hit the refund button, an error comes up and states a manual refund is the only option. This is not the best option for returning merchandise to inventory and there is no way to remove it from the customer's purchase history which we utilize for every transaction. Not having the ability to return merchandise to inventory and remove from customers account in a single transaction…
