An error occurred while saving the comment Peter Davis commentedHey Chris, this can actually be done today on Clover dining by pressing the three buttons next to the guest and closing their tab that way. When you do so, it will let you go back to the table to continue serving. That said, I hear from many merchants about the issue where they press "pay" to close out a guest and the screen gets locked until all guests are closed. Merchants should be allowed to go back either way and not have the screen lock.

I'd suggest making digital gift cards available, allowing customers to purchase an amount of their choice and have the QR code sent via text or email just like the machines do.

yes and an option to save orders under that specific customer in the CUSTOMERS app for regulars that come back in to reorder
